thanks for the nightmares

I'd really want to just snap her head into place

jesus christ

But really, everybody wins.

>it would make some really good monsters
>it would raise awareness
>it would start discussions = free publicity
>the disabled person would get a purpose

Better question is how the fuck did he get that shirt on?

The directors already cast plenty of Australians, OP.

>pitch black night
>you hear this in your house

Reason why this scene disturbed test audience is because filmmakers, in order to make the scene look more realistic and therefore lot more violent, hired real life amputees for special effects scenes where Event Horizon crew members had their body parts damaged in many ways, and porn actors were hired to make the sex and rape scenes more graphic. According to producer Jeremy Bolt and director Paul W.S. Anderson, some audience members during screening of rough cut of the movie started fainting while watching this scene.

So frankly, they don't do that, because the same reason they digitally touched up two faced, instead of the practical effect.

test audiences were TOO DISTURBED BY IT.\

fuck half a Sup Forums would cringe at that dude.

Test audiences and review embargos are the cancer that killed film

>sneezes in hands

i seriously hope you guys dont do this.

>upside-down head
>australian

oh i get it

GoT should have used these as Children of the Forest

They already had Paris Hilton on House of Wax

>tfw no köksal baba as CotF

>he doesn't sneeze on door handles
>he doesn't sneezing openly with the hopes of infecting as many people as possible

i sneeze on the floor

God I want to fuck that mom.

>all those Christfags in the comments

I'm not going to go full fedora tipping euphoria, but don't they notice the irony in God making someone that fucked up since birth?

you need a test audience, but i think the studio uses the test audience to help try to maximize profits. that's the problem.

Allergic to oxygen?

God works in mysterious ways, user :^)

Didn't American Horror Story do something like that?

they did. they had tons of different "monsters" in their freakshow season or whatever

worked pretty good if you asked me

Thanks modern medicine for allowing these defects to exist.

I really wish more horror makers just hired really hideifyingly deformed people like back in the day.

There was some TV bit a long while ago about a woman who has over...70? I think, involuntary orgasms a day.

>inb4 no, that was just your mom

It was very unsettling.

There is no mercy in keeping him alive.

...

that's be extremely problematic for countless reasons

It really isn't.

A couple of people have been saying that she doesn't actually sneeze but just has a tick that makes her do that weird noise.

>tick

Sounds about right. Actual sneezing 12,000 a day would be horrific.

Could you point me to where I could watch that... you know for research

They are, and have. This guy is playing the Leper in the new IT movie and he played Mama. He has a ton of roles coming up because his Marfan's Syndrome keeps him from getting over 100lbs. while he's still 6'4 and his joints are like ball bearings.

yfw she killed herself because she couldn't deal with it

Well, ceaseless hick-up is a thing. There were a few documents around where they featured people who had it for decades.
Everything is possible.

The Crooked Man in The Conjuring 2 too.

that film would have been so much better if not for that fucking 10 minute CGI gay lovey dovey shit at he end.

also, lets not forget Michael Berryman from the hills have eyes.

it would be in poor taste

People get all bitchy when you use real people

It wouldn't.

The problem is the approach.

I have an affliction that causes me to be considered a "freak" and I have been in many films. Quite a few with OP's mom in fact.

Browsing Sup Forums, being judged by your mom in her basement, isn't publicly being acknowledged a "freak".

Is having an 18 inch long big black penis that I stick in your mother?

And I live in my mom's attic, thank you very much.

>Is having an 18 inch long big black penis that I stick in your mother?

No.

anyone else thought from the thumbnail that it's some chick holding a camera infront of a mirror?

It would be very obviously unethical.

I remember a documentary like this about a girl whos knees bent backwards and it terrified me. I had nightmares about her for months.

only if the deformed people are literally retards and unable to give consent

One of the nicest men in the business as well apparently, makes time for everyone and is up for all kinds of photos and stuff.

Compared to some arseholes worth millions and who tell kids to get lost.

>public image of terrible diseases is literally horror movie monsters

Terrible message and not even close to the awareness you want to gain. I mean, it would be terrifying but thats why we have special effects, so we dont have to exploit people like this.

Swear Under the Skin did something like this with a deformed man, more to emphasize loneliness than horror though

He ate chicken wings with Mike Stoklasa at a convention. I'd love to hang out with Michael Berryman and eat chicken wings. In my mind we start calling eachother chickenfuckers and become best friends that star in B cult flicks together.

...

Hey, check it out.

It's really exploitation no matter how you do it. If you are making a horror movie, they are meant to scare people. It doesn't matter how "tasteful" it is, you are equating a human being to a monster, of course people have a problem with it.

>It's really exploitation no matter how you do it.

No. If they are fine with it, it's not exploitation. Stop being obtuse.

Yes Emma Roberts is so brave

a friend of a friend had hick-ups for 6 months. turns out he had a tumour in his stomach

I saw that House episode too
