Posts made in your own thread will not cause the thread to bump up to the top of Page 1. But...you can use a different phone or mobile device to post in your own thread, and as long as the device is not on the same network, posts made from it will bump the thread up to the top.
Even if your thread has not gained any interest from other Sup Forums posters, you can use this loophole to make sure it continually returns to Page 1 until it eventually gets noticed and becomes popular!

Just so you know, 'sage' is an antiquated addition to a post that would allow a post to a thread without bumping it to the top of page 1. Previously, it would be entered into the email field, which is no longer a part of the Sup Forums post format. The more you know!

Now that a number of posts have been made to this thread, I'd like to draw your attention to the post metrics of this thread. If you look you will notice that there are 21 posts and 5 posters in total.
Two of those posters are me (my cellphone and laptop), and give the lack of popularity of this thread, I would imagine that none of the other posters has made more than one contribution. This, each of the 15 posts I've made in this thread from my cell phone has brought this thread back to page 1! This despite the complete lack of interest in this thread!
