Hey Sup Forumsastards, recommend me some actually scary horror movies I watched pic related and found it to be pretty fucking good and quite filled with spooks. I enjoy it when the scary shit is fucking upfront and not that "le atmosphere"crap
Also, don't recommend me gayass shit like blair witch project and paranormal activity, that shit fucking sucks.
not the best movie ever, but it's cool (not even sure if you can call it a scary movie per say but fuck it): kill list
Jack Bennett
Bumping with spooky pictures to get the thread going
Landon Bailey

Dominic Phillips

Xavier Hall

Grayson Diaz

Blake Peterson
>>Grave Encounters Definately
Hunter Campbell
The amateur night segment was good Rest of the movie was a load of shit
Jeremiah Hill
Is grave encounter really good? Cause my friend watched it and called it gay and crap
Evan Garcia

Camden Foster

Benjamin Taylor

Jaxson Johnson

Jaxon Howard
It's more torture porn than scary
Benjamin Hernandez

Joseph Williams

Andrew Myers

Mason Hughes

Elijah Turner

Carter Scott
So may people rate this, I found it to be a collosal letdown with a shitty Feelsy Ending.
Hunter Peterson
kinda, not realy .. (it will spoil the plot.. i guess)
Lincoln Clark
ppl overhyped it yup, it's good or ok but not a masterpiece
Blake Watson
Its psychological
Eli Reyes

Jordan Green

Nicholas Lopez
kill yourself faggot
Anthony White
this will never be funny. go back to reddshit
Matthew Edwards
This is correct, but I liked 3 the best
Angel Bennett
the end is a blatant ripoff of a serbian film
Robert Martinez
heard it was good, i will look at it some day
Gavin Nelson
I enjoyed the conjuring simply because of Ron Livingston. Office space is god tier. Also I really enjoyed the film for its actual spooks. Also the babadook was alright i guess. Could have been better if the kid wasn't literally a sociopath and if it had more psychological horror. It's funny I wanted to make the same thread but instead I found this one.
Colton Hill
emile hirsch rarely chooses bad scripts. I need to see this, i like him
Jacob Diaz
no need to be an ass. it's just movies
Dominic Baker
Best film ever. Watched with no flinch.
Gabriel Russell

Hunter Smith

Jaxon James
the movie who was ripoff by kill list ?
Jeremiah Evans
the kid made it really hard to watch that film. He played the character well, but the character was just a horrible little screaming shit
Asher Robinson
The ending of Kill List was a blatant ripoff A Serbian Film. What more do you want, faggot
Aiden White
trips, courtesy of a faggot
Sebastian Lewis
haaa ok. "A serbian film" ty
Landon Rivera
I agree. Me and my buddy actually made a drinking game out of it. Every time the kid did or said something batshit, you drink 1-3 times depending on severity of his insanity
Michael Turner
yep. also À l'intérieur (Inside) (2007)
Andrew Green
Actually, give me something good. I enjoy it when something is atmospheric and scary, and not that "le jumpscare" crap.
David Ramirez
The Children (2008) my favorite "evil children" movie.
Grayson Clark
hum ..wait what ? no the ending of the to are totaly dif.
Isaiah Cooper
>hurr durr we hid your family members faces and you didnt know it was them you were the fucked up thing to >ahuehueheuehuaehu
prove me wrong
Gavin Myers
The Exorcist III (1990) has one jump scare, but it's the greatest one of all time, so it can be forgiven. It's also a great and scary movie in it's own right, and I consider The Exorcist the scariest film ever made.
Joshua Perry
No I get it. but the rhythm, the situation, the place and the final cut are different. I see what you mean, but I can't see them as a "so similar ending".
Asher Morgan
need to rewatch it!
Caleb Barnes
...
Noah Hall
Noroi (2005) It was bound to be mentioned, but I can understand how some people don't appreciate it. It requires attention and patience to connect the dots that make it terrifying. Plus the psychic character is a bit over the top, but people like him really do exist.
Tyler Diaz
I saw this years ago and it is still without a doubt one of the only films that'll send shivers up my spine.
Jason Gomez
i choose disturbing over scary.
Brody Reed
thank god you watched the original version and not the american remake.. don't know decent horror movies, but since you got in some Spanish movies I recommend el cuerpo or the body of 2012, has some spooky things but it's more mystery
Mason Ortiz
Fuckin' gay. Gay. Gay. Gay. So intense! Gay.
Luis Gray
I liked it 7/10, but not nearly as much.
The Living and the Dead (2006) is the only film, as a grizzled horror fan, that I've had to turn off because I was so uncomfortable and had to finish the next day. I was pretty high at the time, but it's themes about an incapable son trying to take care of his invalid mother scared me so much as my mom isn't getting any younger and I have my doubts as to my ability to care for her.
Kayden Gonzalez
...
Landon Perez
Shit, I made this face D: on more than one occasion during the film.
It Follows (2014) is for some reason incredibly divisive. I am of the camp that it is one of the freshest and most frightening horrors of recent years. Definitely worth a watch, and a fantastic and effective soundtrack to boot.
Connor Stewart
Nichijou.
Liam Flores
definitely divisive but I'm in the same camp as you. great soundtrack.
give it a watch, you'll probably either love it or hate it.
Adam White
I made this comment --
have you (and OP) seen the guest? has the same chick from it follows in it. not really a horror per say and more of a thriller, but absolutely god tier soundtrack and awesome movie.
Leo Jenkins
Cartainly twisting typical horror film rules. But it wasnt at all that scary
Adrian Cook
Tarantino said it best: "It's so good that you get mad at it for not being great."
Brandon Brooks
It follows, year loved this one too
Camden Sullivan
Hmm intredastng.
I was having a hard time getting in to it at first, but then I realized the film makers weren't serious and I enjoyed the hell out of it 8/10
A. I have a huge man crush on Kurt. He's been in a few of my favorite films and is responsible for the best commentaries with John Carpenter.
B. I get it, and I might have ended it differently, but I have no idea how I could have made it better.
The Wicker Man (1973) is the best example of dread I have seen in horror films. You just know something is up but you're not sure what and it's creepy as hell. The ending, thanks to Edward Woodward's acting, is genuinely terrifying to me. Please don't watch the Nick Cage version.
Noah Bennett
God that one was so fucking scary.
Angel Heart (1987) is an interesting horror/mystery combo with a couple really good scares. I watch this every couple years and it holds up. Lisa Bonet is so fucking hot in this. Fans of this one would probably like The Believers with Martin Sheen and The Serpent and the Rainbow by Wes Craven, as they both share a voodoo conspiracy theme.
Lincoln Phillips
Here's a list of some of my favorites, haven't finished it yet though.

Mason Moore
zombie apocalypses are way too over saturated to scare me
Joshua Long
REC 2 is much better. REC 3 is an abortion.
John Watson
both are pretty good, but if you are native spanish speaker the priest kinda ruins it with his anglophone accent, while he is suposed to be some "anti-infections" guy of some spanish state group or whatever
Oliver Murphy
Chernobyl diaries is quite a spook
Chase Diaz
that is on of the most boring movies to watch
a lot of nothing happens, only like 2 jumpscares and the ending sucked
Ethan Fisher
The Orphanage I really enjoyed although I don't know if its strictly 'horror'. Also a Tale of Two Sisters.
Also on my list: - Sinister - Shutter (Thai original, HAS to be the thai one) - Grave Encounters Martyrs Drag Me to Hell Exorcism of Emily Rose My ex 2
