Born in the USA was the second album I ever bought, and it hit me right in the ear. That was in the pre-teens though. Later on, I got Darkness on the edge of town, and while that one felt dated at first, I ended up reading the lyrics after a bit, and that hit me right in the feels, and started a bit of an idolization that continued to the present day.
Elliot Rodger, Charles Whitman, Tim McVeigh and Eric Harris/Dylan Klebold.
