Favorite Coen Bros movies

have they ever made anything bad?
them, Malick and Speilberg are probably the only directors to never have ean misses

The Ladykillers remake. That's it.

Spielberg made Hook remember.

Altman doesn't have any bad movies

Haven't watched O Brother but Burn After Reading is one of my favorite comedy ever.

Hook is a perfect children's movie
what's wrong with it

When's the last time you've seen it? During your childhood? Go back and revisit it. It's pretty bad and absolutely terrible by Spielberg standards.

>Speilberg are probably the only directors to never have ean misses

I see you haven't seen BFG yet

best dialogue in modern cinema

I was like 7.....

but I got my first kiss after awkwardly telling a girl during a middle school dance that I looked like the boy from Hook

Flawless movie

Burn after reading is pretty bad.

inside llewyn davis

In that case, I'd recommend NOT going back and revisiting Hook.

I thought Hail, Caesar! was pretty bad. 5/10 at best. If anybody other than Coen bros had made it, people would've watched and said wut? Either that or it never would've been made.

Clooney was good, though.

Yeah my friend said he loved it. He said some shit like you had to get it. I think it just was a stinker

intolerable cruelty and ladykillers are their big misses

they have lots of mediocre and forgettable shit though like a serious man, hudsucker proxy and burn after reading

Fuck you peck, you're a Mormon, next to you we're all alcoholics

>mediocre and forgettable
>lists A Serious Man, The Hudsucker Proxy, and Burn After Reading

Incomprehensible.

>Spielberg
C R Y S T A L
S K U L L

Probably Inside Llewyn Davis, but I enjoy them all

>Spielberg
War Horse

>title of the thread and thread message aren't related, creating a disjointed conversation

What did the op mean by this?

O Brother Where art Thou is my favorite movie and I don't even know why. Give it a go

I have ADD
sorry

Their best film is No Country for Old Men. I stand by that.

also the shitty War of the Worlds remake

I liked Hook

It's hard to pick a favorite between O Brother, No Country and Lebowski

This is a crucification! *spreads arms*

No Country is the best, The Man Who Wasn't There is underrated. Personally, I don't like Raising Arizona.

also 1941

>Pretty bad
>5/10

>Pretty bad
>Rates it as average

>Personally, I don't like Raising Arizona.

uwot

Raising Arizona appeals to the same retards that like Pulp Fiction.

I liked no country and lebowski a lot but the rest seemed pretty average. Not "bad" though, you are right

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII BID FAREWELLLL

Ready to Wear is pretty bad.

Other than that though, he's fantastic.

Hail, Caesar! is one of the most disappointing movies I've seen in a while. Agreed with everything you said.
