Speaking on the behalf of native Portuguese speakers I must say that it takes a nearly impossible effort to speak an irrepressible correct form of Portuguese. Even if one reads allot of books (no one does really) it's still difficult because there's a different form for each conjugation off every single verb... English it's easy in comparison, it's like Creole hunga bonga dialect to us.
