Ah, that makes sense, although I still don't personally get how someone could feel that way. Everything is wonderful, I think, in a innately physical way. I think you're too trapped up in the mental side of things. Try wrapping your hand around your arm and flexing, or your fingertips on your face and chewing. That's comforting to me, in a way. You are this ridiculously complicated mass of STUFF working (mostly) in tandem. I'm not one to argue that "life is the greatest gift one can receive." Life is a just random chance *thing* that happened, but I want to see exactly what I can and will do, and see as much of what the rest of the world can too. Cutting that short just seems foolish and rash. Not that nothingness is boring, or depressing, or anything. Life, for all its problems, is just so fascinating that I can't dream of wanting anything else.
