I think /tg/ would be the board for CW, although it's not really all that popular over there.
Sup Forums RISK took maps of various real world locations, Europe, USA, World, etc. and broke them down into really small divisions. For example, USA maps would be broken down by county. Games could last all day. Rolling rules varied, just Google Sup Forums RISK for examples. It was around a while back, before dubs got removed. (Which killed off RISK threads as a result.)
