Interesting take on trap. It's really funny, and very surprising at times. Great sounds.
Beautiful chord progression. Very magical... and weird. Pretty original.

I like being busy, since it means I never get bored or feel like I'm not doing anything, but I simultaneously hate it. I have no room to do stuff alot of the time!
I'll leave feedback, just include your post.
enjoyed these.
I'd like to start off by saying that these soundcloud threads are great, I'd love to find some cool unknown musicians that have potential but, just out of curiosity, do people ever post good music in these threads?
Also what the fuck is up with all the electronic and rap music? I have no problem with that kind of music, but you guys are way overdoing it. Do none of you know how to play an instrument?
I've found unique stuff here, not gonna lie, there's few artists that stick out.
Also, I don't think that you have to know how to play an instrument to be able to compose. Not saying anyone out of the blue can make good music, but creative people can figure shit out without having any sort of technical ability or knowledge on an instrument. I have much more respect towards artists who can tweak modulators to create a great fucking soundscape than a shredder (since I play guitar). It doesn't really matter, but I get what you're saying.
>There are no electronic instruments
Most Soundcloud artists do this stuff out of their bedrooms on their own time. Thus, hip hop and electronic based stuff are rather prevalent, since those two genres can typically make good product, even out of your own bedroom. That doesn't deter music quality though. Homework by Daft Punk was made in their home. Look where they are now.
This is probably the most forward thinking thing I've come across in these threads, it's such a novel sound for all it's aggression.
This is cool. Is this actually analog?
I like the direction this takes but I think it could be vastly improved with a clearer mix/stronger mastering. Which apples to all of the music here, but especially to all the mids here.
I agree with you on that one, I do need to learn how to better mix my shit. I have a buddy that knows how to mix/master stuff way better than me, I will work with him in a future occasion.

There's no good reason you couldn't multitrack a whole accoustic band from a bedroom.
That still either requires either multiple people, or the ability to work with multiple instruments and be good at layering
i didnt have much luck in my own thread, so i'll post it here. anybody interested in rapping over this beat i made?
I'll write something and rap to this for u
thanks senpai.

Are there any universally regarded artists in these threads, at least as far as quality of their music from an unbiased technically perspective? Sometimes I want to check the homegrown stuff out, but I'm never down to sift through fruity loop beats. Who are the heavy hitters of the SoundCloud threads?
Tinymixtapes featured me, and I've had a few people give me offers to open for them. Waiting until I finish my album to accept any of that. Pretty sure people like me. I do enjoy layered production and use it as much as I can, so if you want technical stuff, there's that!
