>year

I pay about that much per month just off my salary

t. engineer

Christ you canucks really get fucked by taxes don't you?

Employer pay taxes for me
Don't you have a gray salary? I'm an engineer too and my official salary is 300$ lol.

JUST

How much did you make?

Like $19 000

feels bad man

>tfw we have higher taxes than canada
just fucking end it.

You also have a lot more debt to pay

Eh

Here's calculator to how much taxes you pay in canada
simpletax.ca/calculator

select province as ontario or bc

DUDE FREE SHIT THOUGH

It's the cost they have to pay to have free shit. Want government mandated healthcare? Taxes, my boyo!

I feel bad for rich fags.

>Make $140k
>pay JUST taxes

plus fucking sales tax on every purchase, J U S TT!!!!

It is a privilege to pay 40% tax to keep millions of streimel wearing kike parasites alive. God bless the Jewish sca... I mean state.

OP is a lying faggot. If he only earned 19k he wont pay a cent in income tax.

>Being this retarded

>earn just below 40,000€
>pay 12,000€ in income taxes etc
such is life in a social democracy

>canadian dollars have same symbol as real dollars
>wage is normally measured per year not month

not even going to bother using that garbage

>Filing your taxes every month

do you have some sort of problem or do they do things differently in swedistan

they don't pay taxes every month, but people compare wages on a monthly income basis, which is more practical in some aspects.

Didn't you have a gray salary? x2
>making $11.760 a year what consider a pretty good in my region
>taxes should be 23%
>my official salary is $3.470
>pay only 13% ($450) of my official wage
Life is good.

I'm telling Putin, he'll send his oligarchs after you.

No, but in most European countries you compare wages by month because that's what your paycheck reads

Plus it is easier to work out how much you have left after your living costs. Rent is monthly, electricity is monthly, Internet is monthly, insurance is monthly, etc.

Going by year is just dumb

But hey. That includes everything. Healthcare, etc.
In burgerland they have allmost same rates + all the incurances, expensive education
>how they survive

But that's when you submit your tax return

You also need to calculate RRSP contributions, capital gains dividends and shit

>tax return
which is only a fraction of your wage

>got some 1000 EUR checks in my bookshelf that I never bothered to cash in
you'd think the IRS could just transfer the money to your account, but no, they use cheques like backwards americans

they even have ads on them

>They use checks

what do you mean by this, we have direct deposit here

>How do people cope with this problem in your country? The problem of having to pay income tax?
We don't. We just bitch. It's been subject of debate for years and the only thing done about it is raise the bar but people are still bitching.

>Gray salary
Though I partially understand it because shitcountry
>avoiding taxes
KYS REEEEEEE

>the only thing his country is known for is tax evasion
>he likes taxes
Are you from Germany or something?

good goy

No, I'm a filthy socialist who knows taxes run a country.

You mean they run the fuel and maintenance of a government official's boat?

>he pays taxes to support niggers and unemployed
good goy

At least in your country they spend some money on people. In Russia paying taxes = throwing money at oligarchs.

real americans using real dollars, not canadians

this is why russia is a shithole that people are fleeing from en masse.

Yeah, I at least understand it in Russia
>Was unemployed for a while
>Muh neetbux helped me get through good
Yeah no, I've been on it and it did me well.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in favour of of keeping the government small as possible, as well as keeping the finances of everyone in government public for at least x years to prevent corruption. :^)

Why? Because I don't want pay for someone's house in Switzerland?

>I don't want to give my money to retarded khohols and fsb officers
the best goy right there

It makes the most sense in russia desu.

They have a lot of corruption and literally get nothing for their taxes so paying more would be just cucking yourself

This.
>funny thing is that russia never gonna change. Ryssä is ryssä allways.

That's not a funny thing 2bh.

Who's the big man after/behind Putin btw. I mean, he's 64 now, surely he's not going for a Mugabe. R-right?

We don't know, it's kinda an intrigue for Russia, but some tend to think that could be our current defense minister or Moscow mayor. Or Putin again, lol. He is always skeptical about whether he will participate or not before elections.

You're a retard.

If you make 90k a year, you'd have more disposable income in the US even after paying for a 90/10 health plan.

I'm not even talking about next elections, I mean after putin either retires or dies.

But living in mockba or sankt petersburg cant be that bad?

Then
>some tend to think that could be our current defense minister or Moscow mayor
It's very unlikely that Medvedev will be the president again. And I don't know anyone else. Candidates from other parties are either clowns or irrelevant fucks.

>Live in corrupt society
"Can't be that bad if it's one of the two big cities right"

I go to the financial ministers house and cut his tires and paint 1488 on his house

Tecak for president

Informality is the future

I can't really tell about it because I haven't lived in another country, but I like Western European cities better. Moscow is like a low-tier average European city with a bit of Russian misery and shit.
But as mentioned, living in a country like Russia, even in a relatively ok city, sucks.

At least sankt petersburger is nice place to visit.
Sure poor ruskies has shittier life but middle class life cant be that bad.
>i sense some russofobia here

Depends on how you view russophobia. I'm a bit of a russiaboo, but I just know it's currently shit. I mean, that's kind of the history of the country. It's shit, but they persevere and come out strong anyway.

The thing is, there is no middle class here. I don't even know what can be called middle class in this country. I earn 1300euro, but I wouldn't say I'm a middle class person. And most of the people earn less than me, often less for a whole family.
