I recently started listening to at least one new album each day

heard maybe 20% of those :(
possibly could get along, have u just started listening to death g?

We would really get along. I love Jank and The Menzingers

Never really thought The Binding Of Isaac'a soundtrack was anything all that interesting. Pretty good taste tho.

What 20% have you heard? I could recommend some of my favorites from my chart but I'm not sure how they would align with your tastes.

GF got me into Jank not too long ago and I've been really digging Versace Summer, I've only given one listen to Awkward Pop Songs but that was good too. Also On The Impossible Past is the only Menzingers I've heard but I really like it, anything else from their discography worth a look?

bumping with gf chart

enjoys reading, but hasn't been doing much of it lately for one reason or another

in a period of self reflection

doesn't let the opinions of others weigh too heavily on his mind

knows more about music than you'd expect at first glance but also has a good grasp on what they like and what they don't

depressed yet still has a good sense of humour

How's that Spiral Stairs album?

I like a good 80% or more of your chart. Some stuff I haven't heard like fourth row, far right, tiny ruins, ween, japanese girl, bottom right corner, second and third in second row. Outside of those I like the rest, although it's been forever since i listened to black flag.

+LCD Soundsystem, outkast, kraftwerk, TVU, King Crimson, Sleep, Pere Ubu, Sly & Family Stone

I am not feeling clever enough to offer any good recomendations as I feel they'd probably all be redundant anyways.

Looking for recs but feel free to rate/guess

Not necessarily depressed but really uncertain about life
+Radiohead, Kanye, Beach Boys, Slint, AnCo
+Miles Davis

+RTJ, Ghost, Babymetal

Not my favorite Bowie album but I'm still in love with anything related to him

>spiral stairs

Really good, catchy vocals and some cool riffs. It's super underrated this year.

I'll have to give it a listen soon then. It sounded interesting when I read about it, but I've just put it off for no real reason.

Bought Zelda: BotW two weeks ago. So not much listening for me.

If you like real estate listen to wild nothing
If you like magazine listen to James chance/this heat
But you've probably already listened to them

To this day ELO still fails to capture my interest for some reason, I should give my copy of Out of the Blue a listen again soon.

Listen to the Echo and the Bunnymen albums on my chart

>Is the new Zelda fun I heard the dungeons suck

Nico - Desertshore

++Joanna, Kendrick, Kate, Bork

Erykah Badu - Mama's Gun

+Julien Baker
Have you listened to Semper Femina? It's pretty nice

+Mitski, Carly, Azealia
-Lana
Try Julia Holter - Have You in my Wilderness

>Have you listened to Semper Femina? It's pretty nice
I haven't but I'm adding it to my to listen list. I sampled a few songs and it seems up my alley. Thanks for the rec, I've been trying to find some new stuff to listen to and this fits the bill for sure.

Im The ones you don't know are (in the order you listed them):
Jessica pratt: on your own love again
Colleen: Les Ondes Silencieuses
Stars of the lid: and their refinement of the decline
Aine O'Dwyer: music for church cleaners volume 1 and 2
Jessica is good chamber folk, would recommend
Last three are good if you like ambient
Id rec Japanese Girl as well if you like kate bush and bjork

Not a big Julia holter fan but I appreciate the rec

Yeah I heard there weren't really dungeons which makes me leery. The game looks fun though I'll probably get it within the next year

Thanks for answering, I will check out Japanese Girl for sure as I'm a big fan of Kate & Bjork, as well as Jessica Pratt. I haven't really delved too much into ambient yet, although I should get around to it.

I have the worst taste out of all of yall

...

Finally someone else who likes Wavves on this board. I've seen them live twice

Charlie XCX and Remo Drive are some of the best albums that have been released so for in 2017. Check these out:

>drunk
Not him but it took me a few listens to get into it. I'm not sure I like it as much as his other stuff.

Dumber than shit question but I'm brand new here and I have no idea how to make a collage.

Please advise.

if you're the guy from the other thread then i already told you to go to topsters.net.

you have a last.fm?

>haven't listened to them apart from Captain Jack, how's that album?
it's good, nothing especially amazing but still enjoyable to listen to.

I've really been flexing my inner pleb this week
Jaco Pastorius - s/t
Zapaska - Pomalu
Civil Civic - The Test
Blackalicious - Blazing Arrow

Not Funeral but okay

...

Yeah same guy, thought I'd reask here. Topsters.net gives me an error and last.fm looks like you have be listening to music through them, then it makes one based on your taste.

++ Kurt Vile, Television, White Reaper
Dope Lemon - Honey Bones

What'd you think of the new Real Estate?

not sure why topsters is giving you an error, it works for me, but there's also neverendingchartrendering.org/

You fucking dumbass you need a last.fm to use topsters

Cheers man, I thought the new album was pretty solid throughout, Darling was by far my favorite song on it. Whats your opinions on it ?

Chill music

either way i guess he gave up.

i've only listened to it once so far but i liked it a lot more than atlas. seems like they've worked on their songwriting a lot and it's less of just being mood music.

well it was my girlfriend's chart so yeah I guess you would be right

tfw no gf

>Tell me about The Philosophy of Momus, Corky's Debt to His Father, and Dell Universo Assente, they're all in my backlog.
phil of momus is electronic-sounding pop, but there's quite a lot of variation; it can be one of those "hate it or like it" things; I'm not a massive fan of the first track, but the rest are quite nice, cute and warm with nice beats
if you like it, check out Folktronic too

Corky's debt is some nice guitar and singer 'country' style music which gets a little atonal in some parts, but the tunes are pleasant and feel 'old timey' despite being relatively new

for Assente, it's some mystical sounding piano, strings, but it's hard to say exactly where it lies; if you like piano and music that would fit a film set in the 1500s then give it a go

never listened to ratatat but heard good things, they worth a listen?
+capn jazz, try algernon cadwallader if you havent already listened
+microphones, +danny brown, +TTNG, +Frankie, +Have a nice life

had a very xiu xiu week

I don't know this board well

I like the elliot smith & modest mouse, hat's up with the anime albums, what genre even are they, any good stuff? middle school core guitar music mixed with some really good albums, lurk more and learn to hide the fact you have unique taste desu

Foreground Eclipse is Post-Hardcore according to last.fm, their music is just fun to listen to. Egoist is j-pop I guess, the album I posted is comfy.

And yeah I get that people make fun of the metalcore stuff but I enjoy it.

>learn to hide the fact you have unique taste desu
lmaoo thats the thing I hate most about this board. If you don't have boards of canada, thugger, oneohtrix point never, amco, microphones, dg or beach boys on your 5x5 then you aren't cool/dont have good taste.
Sometimes I just want to listen to shitty emo music or some frank ocean without being ostracized by anons who pretend it isn't good.

Listening since Sunday, gonna lazypost for once.

It's been a long time since I scrobbled, this list would be probably a lot different.

Lazyfags gtfo stop being lazy and shit
