math thread v2

answer to last thread

C'mon guys you learned this in school :^)

can someone explain monoidal categories, cocycles, and their relation to cohomology? having a bit of trouble with it atm

17 can not be divided 3 without obtaining a fraction and not a whole number. So this one has no solution

61/3

572/9 or 63.5556

haha fucking math major
just switch now and get an actually good degree that doesnt waste your 2 years of math.

nvm its actually -124/3 ( or -41.333)

nothing can be worth all that trouble
flipping burgers isn't so bad, they're tasty

Just kidding -124/3

it's 41 + 1/3, right?

-50&1/3

I think

ha we made the same mistake

someone check my work

Lobster = 17/3
Two beers = 38 - (34/3) = (114 - 34)/3 = 80/3
Poop = 7 - (40/3) - (17/3) = (21 - 40 - 17)/3 = -36/3

So for the last line;

(80/3) + (17/3) x (-36/3) = (240 - 612)/9 = -372/9

or -124/3

-388.8

Wrong in second line, if you sum up the numerators, you get something that is 8 bigger than a multiple of 3, so when you divide by 3 you won't get an integer

>lobster

-338, this shit is so fucking easy.
17/3 = 5.66666666666666
38 - (5.6667*2) = x
38-x/2 = beer value = 13.3333333333333333
7-13.333333333-5.6666666666=poo=-12
(13.333333333*2)+5.666666666*-12=-338

Your second line is wrong. Each beer should be 40/3, not 20/3. This makes poop equal exactly -12.

>converting to decimal

shig

I guess I solved it first (if i'm right, i'm )

Lol dat math. Wtf did you do.

I used a calculator and basic algebra.

...

Oh you don't know order of operations I see how you got it now.

388

-388 faggot, when you multiply a positive by a negative it becomes a negative.

I mean aside from not knowing the difference between a lobster and an eggplant this is clearly right.

388
or
94.66666666666666666666666...

Welcome to 4th grade.

this type that shit into google. it will give you the correct answer; -41.44

oops...
-388
or
-41.333333333333333333

check me

Five unknowns and only four equations. This can't be solved without the answee being in terms of at least one of the other variables.

Normies have no problem assuming that 2 beers is the same as 1 beer * 2

1 + 1 beers

But they're images. They're independent variables. It's not 2(beer).

what proof do you have that the image of one beer glass is half the value of the image of two beer glasses??

I know what you're saying, but understanding the intent of the question really isn't difficult.

Jesus you Queers, post some actual math.

...

You're wrong. The last image treated two fries as 2(Fry), so there's no reason to assume that this new image doesn't follow the same rule. The two beers aren't independent variables, and they aren't that quantity squared, it's literally just two of the beer's value. People overthink the fuck out of these.

I was doing this with actual decimal points instead of 17/3 type thing lol im so dumb, no wonder it was hard, kept forgetting if it was 24,6.. or was it 23,3? wait wat was it

because it's 2 beers
if it was beer*beer there would be a x like in eggplant x shit

...

oh great, like that episode of south park

idk how the fuck to do the last part but half the area of everything that isnt in the circle is 21.46 so its probably somewhere near 19
so glad most tests are multiple choice at my college or id be fucked

19.503

Obese. The answer is Obese.

−41.33333333333333

E = Eggplant
B = Beer
S = Shit

E + E + E = 17

3E = 17
E = 17/3

E + E + 2B = 38

(17/3) + (17/3) + 2B = 38
(34/3) + 2B = 38
2B = 38 - (34/3)
2B = 80/3
B = 40/3

S + E + B = 7

S + (17/3) + (40/3) = 7
S + (57/3) = 7
S = 7 - (57/3)
S = -12

2B + E * S = ???
2(40/3) + (17/3) * (-12) = ???
(80/3) - 68 = -124/3

So I believe the answer is -124/3
