It's not just Malaysia. Universal Robina also ship their products to Indonesia. Seeing them promoting Nips in an anime con means that they're trying to be promote it to the teen market or TRYING to penetrate the whole market.

IMO, Nips just don't sell. They need stand out and introduce a new line of Nips products than being a cheap m&m knockoff.
