Which party do you support?

How would you feel about Brits moving into your neighbourhood ?

my communist 60's hipster uncle lives in a village like that in france with his fellow french also communist hipster old wife . are villages like this always full of old commies or is my uncle and his wife just an exception

depends of the region

Front National

There's no brits here, i don't know what you're talking about

>There's no brits here
>How would you feel
>WOULD

>are villages like this always full of old commies or is my uncle and his wife just an exception
exception. There is many people (not just here but everywhere in France) with socialist views but i've rarely met any communist fag

I just told you there were no brits man....

The South of France is FN and many FN voters are former communists. BTW in the 70's communists made good scores in the South.

Why are you so bored?
Also what make you want to vote for FN?
Also please, how old are you?
I don't want to go in any argument with you, this is only to satisfy my curiosity.

What is your social life like in such a village?

Im from a small village in Ohio. AMA

I too, am board

sorry i didn't see. I'd be a bit mad. It's not as bad as arabs coming here but it's still bad. This is a french land, we already struggle to keep the provençal culture alive, no need to make it harder. Of course if it's just some dudes it's not really dangerous

But I didnt ask if there were, I asked how would you feel about that prospect

>Front National

Based.

Youre very insular m8

>tfw you realize "far-right'' is basically just a racist far-left

I'm not even the OP

the real far right is henry de lesquen desu

I guess I'm also very insular since I think like him

b-btw I have some breton ancestors, can I move to Britain?

I was born in a small village. I was still a child when we were raided by soldiers. Foreign soldiers. Torn from my elders, I was made to speak their language. With each new post, my masters changed along with the words they made me speak. With each change, I changed, too. My thoughts, personality, how I saw right and wrong. Words can kill.

>Why are you so bored?
I just don't know what to do, i don't wanna play video games, neither watch movie or a serie, i don't feel like doing anything.
>Also what make you want to vote for FN?
Seeing the globalist direction the EU is taking I think it's time we leave this union. I also think there's too many immigrants coming into this country abusing our services and threatening our culture already declining and they causes nothing but troubles.
>Also please, how old are you?
I'm 20

There isn't much to do here. We often go to the city 3 km south. There is too many old people and there's not much activities and popular entertainment planned. But that doesn't mean the village is dead, it's just not alive enough.
Even worse now that they transformed a crucial street into a useless square. It was a small street with a lot of shops easily accessible, now the tradepeople makes significant less revenue because less people come here.

show pics, i wonder what american villages look like.

That's what happen when your culture is threatened, what were you expecting ?

Anyway right and left are old concept that doesn't mean a lot today.

The dude's a fucking meme

If you bring me some caramel au beurre sale

>your culture is threatened
You should identify on a European level, not this tribal shit youve got going on

Fraire vivaroalpènc d'mountagna!

Local culture are threaten all over the world because globalization is inevitable. The word is just too small and we are just so many.

I'm actually provençal, sorry

Hey, ive been to a bunch of those villages, my father has an appartment in ste maxime

Any chance its around that area?

It's one hour from where i live.

You know that this "european culture" doesn't exist and will be instable, right ?

Huh, ive probably been there then. I love those villages. I can see how you'd get bored though

I'm not here right now tho. I'm studying in Strasbourg.
My village is called le Val, i doubt you've ever come here, sure there is not a lot of communes here compared to the north, but it's really small and not well known

I didnt say anything about European culture, im talking about European solidarity

Well I've been to Brignoles, i might have driven through as I prefer the smaller roads

Well, le Val is 3 km north, right on top of it !
I had my brevet des collèges in Brignoles

What do you think of the city ?

I'm all for european solidarity and an European Union, but now it's going too far

I liked it for sure, not the most memorable but definitely a nice town

have you ever had sex with a girl? have you kissed a girl? have you had a gf?

Have a family friend that lives in Montbrison-sur-Lez

Ngl it's boring down there. I went to his for Christmas once, was shit, was almost like the French didn't celebrate Christmas.

The people are not rude either, not sure where that meme comes from. You lot are proper dull though.

>was almost like the French didn't celebrate Christmas.
Not the first time I heard this

Political opinions can be very distinct from one village to another, even in the same vicinity. It pertains to such nettly marked distinctions, frequently as old as the villages themselves, of various nature and dating eventually from a far time ago, like the Wars of religion or some obscure medieval quarrel.

No to all questions :(

Dude you're talking of a city with 300 inhabitants.

We celebrate Christmas.
And people in villages can be somewhat dull, i agree. But again it depends where. The bigger the village, the less depressive it is

This is a really well written post for such a stupid statement.

Well, thank you, fils de pute.

literally what

nice shithole

>Oh you know people from the same area do not allways vote for the same thing, duh
>Oh thank you my fellow international board poster, this post was really rewarding. Could you please enlight me with more of your political knowledge about stuff and junk?
de rien mange merde

>city

Unrelated but foreigners often seem to have problems distinguishing city, town, village etc. Are they all the same word in French or something?

>tfw you realize "far-left" is basically just a minorty-racist far-right

Not him, but there seems something dead about french villages. I stayed for two months in a village near carcassonne, and if I compare the lifestyle of villages in languedoc with those in toscana - the latter seemed a lot more lively and even well-to-do. I still prefer the french though since italians are kind of annoying, plus the french are very friendly by and large.

En parlant de manger de la merde...
youtube.com/watch?v=moESGesiQCc

no at all i just made a mistake.
We just have village, ville, and that's it.
We sometime say a big town (grande ville) when we talk about a city. A city is just a big town, right ?

The problem is centralization
Since the French Revolution, the higher echelons of French society have an obsession with centralization
Every activity is gathered in regional capitals and in important cities, the rest is ignored
Today's countryside is basically a haven for pensioners because it's calm and cheaper than cities, but there's not much activity for younger people, be it work or distractions. Hence young people leave to find work, hence villages look dead, hence other young people have even less reasons to remain since they're lonely, etc...
This country is such a mess on so many aspects it's not even funny anymore

A city here has to be appointed by the Queen or something.

I'd say City>Large Town>Town>>Small Town>Village>Hamlet

I've heard that its not unusual for extremist people to switch extremist groups, even when they're very different in terms of beliefs. White power people joining ISIS for example.

The implication being i guess that some people really want the extremism and the feelings/experiences that come with being that sort of person more than they really care about the actual message.

this

But we can call "city" a medieval agglomeration too, or some special urban complexe, even modern.

Why is it that I will never live in an ultra-comfy French village?
>tfw

Here it's Hammeau

That's like most places in Europe though, if not the world

>tfw i don't know that feel
can't hear you over the sound of my comfyness

Will you make many chilluns to do a part in reviving your village?
Do other young people plan to do so?

See, now why do you have to be that way nigga?

Ehat entertainment do you miss in particular?

It was a trend during the Hippie era.

That is what people do not want to know. They want to think that there is another way, the way it use to be 50 years ago. That is why FN is doing so well, they are investing in this feeling that "everything used to be better".
"And you know what made how it is today?" they ask, "European Union!"
And pleople eat it and vote for them. Not seing that you can't stop this kind of things and you can't go back and this is not related to Europe.

How good is your internet? Do you have a gf?

It's not bad. Sadly, no.

Can you post pics of some street scenes from your village? I've always wanted to live in some qt European village

I don't have any pics, but you can go on google maps street view and see by yourself. The village's name is "le Val".
There's also some random pics on the official website : mairie-leval.fr/village/galerie/

...

the sign just made it so ridicule

On ne peut pas s'empêcher de glousser à chaque fois que l'on emprunte cette rue. Certains en pissent même de rire.

lol

Happy to oblige
This is the picture of the town square in the summer

Pretty good.

I've wanted to move to an American small town like this for a few years now.

J'ai 18 ans. Et toi?

...

Do you live somewhere not colored in on this map?

Bump
