Quick question; is there any way to get to a consensus on what really ARE fluffies? Like their gestation time, measurements and shit? It's been kind of bothering me that as of late everyone seems to have their own head cannon. I've been writing a short story of a professor giving a class to a bunch of "genetics students" in which he uses the fluffy as an example of successful genetic manipulation and tries to explain their characteristics.
The story is pretty damn boring if I say so myself; but at least tries to give actual numbers about what is going on; dates and shit. The numbers can easily be changed to what could be agreed between the community. It also tries it best to cover a few plotholes in the whole fluffy factory escape and how the population began to become a problem.

I don't think there's any real consensus. No writer or illustrator would go through the work of sorting through fluffy biology. Their psychology is pretty straightforward, but maybe guinea pig biology would be a good place to start since they're probably the closest things to fluffies, even if they're an equestrian species.

Being pregnant for months is far too long if a feral fluffies are ever going to be considered a thing. Take rats for example; they have a gestation of 20 fucking days; and are a lot more capable of surviving than any dumb fluffy. Expecting a shit-rat to survive for three months in a weakened state is just way too much. I'm leaning towards a month on that one.
