dumb & dumber

Anchorman or whatever it's called

Drive

Didn't laugh once

only normies don't like Zoolander

true patricians notice how it's one of the greatest comedies ever made

The King of Comedy

no it really isn't

in fact, it's actually the opposite. only normies like it.

ITT: your favorite cult classics

>The Comedy.

I'm a big tim and Eric fan but what the fuck

All of them. No comedy has ever been funny. Things are only funny when they're unintentional. Intentional comedy is just forced and boring.

>I have Autism but havent realized yet.

>or whatever it's called
You just called it what it is. Stop being 12.

Seconding this.

Anchorman is shit and I truly believe the only reason anyone likes it is becuase they watched it when they were a kid/teenager.

Looking back it's objectively fucking shlock.

"The Heat" was excruciatingly unfunny.

>women
>funny

try again pardner

I will never understand what gypsy magic Paul Feig did to convince America that Melissa McCarthy is funny.

Better off dead is kino

this

You don't need a comedy involving women. Women's lives are comedy enough in and of themselves.

Also anything with Will Ferrell. Something about his style of humour just makes me cringe. I can never tell if people actually think he's funny or they're just being ironic.

I really fucking hate improve in movies/tv

If you come up with something funny, you tell it to the director and he can put it into the script and make it natural and funny.

This is the kind of shit improv we end up with in films:

>My cat is called MAG-MA
>He's like a a raging volcano!
>yuuuuup
>MAGMA!

>co star goes '..ok' and we transition back to the actual script in a painfully obvious way

I'm convinced he's a Vicar of Dibley fan

Only McCarthy isn't as likeable or natural as Dawn French and Feig is a shit writer compared to Richard Curtis

She was good in Gilmore Girls.

Napoleon Dynamite. To this day I still dont understand why it was so popular.

Too far.

Christ I'm imagining a Vicar of Dibley US remake with McCarthy as Grainger

This. It sucks that its almost like shes a different person. The comedy feels forced. She felt so right and natural as Sookie. What gives.

I kinda get what you mean. I watched it as a teen after downloading it over three days on dial-up, shared it with friends and we quoted it endlessly. Then you realise everyone else did. I cant watch it anymore for how quoted and played out it is.

I still think Ron Burgandy is a great character.

Anchorman 2 sucked dick though.

Moreso witty than laugh out loud funny. I enjoy it.

Every single American comedy made in the last 5 years.

...

Maybe it has to do with Sookie being funny because she was an actual character. McCarthy's roles since have tended to be LOL I'M A FAT LADY AREN'T I FUNNY?

Zoolander is fucking great, Stiller's finest along with Tropic Thunder which is still the funniest movie of the 21st century

No, no, no, no, no... yes.

Schindler's List could've been a wee bit funnier

holy shit kys

10/10 Comedies

I don't know, after watching it a second time I realized how fucking funny ralph fiennes' accent was and it's a blast ever since, sounds like he's imitating monty python

Zoolander is fantastic, fuck off OP

>Just because we have chiseled abs and stunning features, it doesn't mean that we too can't not die in a freak gasoline fight accident!

>What *is* this? A center for ants?!

>"Merman!" *cough* "Mer-MAN!"

>But why male models?

I've never even been to mount Vesuvius

This looks like a porno.

Throwing in my vote for Fawlty Towers.

Not far from one
youtube.com/watch?v=QhQpiEuTJx0

...

...

Was Zoolander 2 any good?

No

>Fawlty Towers
>""""""""""unfunny""""""""""

Found the septic.

Is it really supposed to he such a crazy thing that someone is a virgin at 18?

What are some really good comedies, though?

>or whatever it's called

ugh, this board

Protip: It's not a comedy

>Hating Black Dynamite

How to spot a pleb 101

I hate this one

>tfw zoolander 2 became exactly the thing it was supposed to be parodying
we live in some dark times man

see
zoolander 1 was the audience laughing at hollywood/fashion industry and shallow materialistic consumerism and the idolizing of celebrity
zoolander 2 was hollywood/fashion industry and a bunch of idolized celebrities relishing in their debauchery while the audience cheered them on

It really should be called The Autist

>new thread
>best comedies

first Zoolander was pinnacle of humor compared to the second one

is Paul Feig the biggest cuck in Hollywood?

I don't hate BD, I was posting it as an example of a really good comedy.

...

You're going to get shit on for that, but I 100% agree. The movie just isn't funny at all.

Hot Fuzz and Sean of the Dead

Entitled to your opinion ofc. But you are objectively wrong.

Michael Richards, he's not funny, he's a damn truth spouting genuis.

>yfw their are people TALKING AND TALKING AND TALKING AND TALKING, but no forks in sight.

Not really. The jokes aren't funny. Before you say some shit like 'HURR YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND THEM, IDIOT', yeah, I do understand them. They still aren't funny.

Of course, it doesn't help that it's yet another zombie apocalypse movie, one of the most overdone and creatively bankrupt settings out there.

There are some funny moments (WASSUP NIGGAS) but it's overrated. Hot Fuzz is much funnier

no care whether you think it's funny or not, but Zombie Apocalypse, ESPECIALLY in the comedy variation, was not an overdone concept at the time.

It came out in 2004 you nigger

>tits everywhere starting at 1:15

neat

Even the Vicar of Dibley has its moments

wow, just wow...

Anchorman 2 the legend continues or whatever it's called I don't even know because my humor is so superior

If it contains an SNL actor from the past two decades it's garbage.

What are the best comedies of the 2010s?

Anything this cross dressing hack produces

These are not good opinions
I don't remember it being super funny but I do enjoy it so idk it still has some value

that comedy that you really like

>It came out in 2004 you nigger
28 Days Later came out in 2002 and reignited the zombie apocalypse genre. The original Resident Evil movie also came out in 2002. The comic of The Walking Dead started in 2003. The remake of Dawn of the Dead came out 10 days before Shaun of the Dead's London premiere, weeks before the UK premiere, and months before Shaun of the Dead's U.S. release.

The zombie apocalypse subgenre had already been re-establishing itself for quite some time before Shaun of the Dead.

>expected
Funny humor from the people on the poster
>got
90% boring filler from the teenage character

I guess it has funny scenes and quotes but watching from start to finish is painful

DELETE THIS

dude liquor lmao, seriously what's wrong with that generation

the problem is Americans don't find British comedy funny, just as i dont find American Comedy's funny. nothing to related to.

Don't Diss Vicory of Dibley though or any other British classics

Everyone in this thread, including me

true numale kino

Zoolander was pretty funny. Now this, I couldn't even summon up a chuckle for this.

these days only ugly girls make it to 15 without having had a half dozen cocks in their ass

i really really like this movie

She is what I expect most women from Nebraska and Iowa look like

jesus, cheap AND lazy exploitation

This was on TV the other night.
Never watch comedies you enjoyed as a kid, it completely ruins them when you realize how unfunny they are.

This is kino, you piece of shit

Pretty much any comedy from this decade.

Agree on this one bait or not. The only part that made me genuinely laugh was when Jack Black punted Will's dog off a bridge

>or did you think I was to stupid to know what a eugoogly was?

>no I'm genuinely asking, does being fat make you a bad person? I mean I know it doesn't make you a good person, but
Aside from that and maybe one other good joke, no

Great choice.

I actually watched this once.
Great exemple of these sort of high budget "comedies" for the masses that seems to follow the generic premise that every caricature is funny.

There is a sequel that looks as poor and generic as the first, full of "funny, big names".

The humor in this felt like Tenacious D and the POD, but shittier.

>sarcastically im in charge
>black dynamite looks at camera like wtf
this movie is 10/10
youtube.com/watch?v=1aoWVRhgEqI

I have fond memories of watching it with friends back in high school. I'll always enjoy it because of what it makes me remember.

Was the anime any good?
