THAT SCENE IS PURE ART

POST IT

His only crime was to obey British law and to try to eliminate piracy, which was undermining the economy of the whole region, using any means at his disposal.
He really didn't do anything wrong.

Amazing scene

>ywn watch this again in a cinema

Thanks, friend. It really is a great scene.

Wow the still of this shot is actually quite telling. You can tell that Tuddy was hurt here and a bit sad he had to off Tommy and Vinnie was the same way but knew that it was simply business, that this wasn't personal. Damn fine shot there!

That faggot gave Amerifats the idea that they were the civilized, moral ones. Which was completely false, considering they went to war over PAYING TAXES to their homeland. Cunts.

God the Pirates films were fucking fun. Loved the magical realism thing with them and even if they got convoluted, it always felt like they were made with some passion.

Besides the fact that not all pirates nor all the english fleet participated in the final battle, why else do people dislike this movie?
I honestly think it was a good end to the trilogy I pretend the 4th movie didn't happen, anything past the third is a shameless cash grab

youtube.com/watch?v=G3a4Y_YhWK0

that maelstrom battle was just too epic

Does Sup Forums still hate PoTC movies?

I always thought the first two were pretty damn good movies for what they were, third was a bit boring and repetetive already but still OK. Never watched the 4th

Recently watched the original for the first time since i was a kid.
I don't like the word "fun" when describing movies, but god damn that movie just can't be called anything else

This one is legitmate. He was fighting a terrorist insurgency trying to destabilise his home and claim the lives of 70% of the population who didn't want war.

Washington is thenBin Laden of hismtime and commited ountless acts of terrorism on people who didn't support his jihad like tarring and feathering innocent families.

I honestly don't know why Sup Forums hated them.
The 4th is the only one worth hating, it's a real waste of time. It adds nothing to the original story nor to the original characters. Elizabeth and Will aren't even in it

This scene raises an interesting point. All ofmthosemredcoats dying and portrayed as the badnguys and nobody bats an eyelash, but Master and Commander hadnto have the story changed from the book and the bad guys turned from Americans into the French because American audiences would eve triggered bybeing portrayed as the baddies for once.

An interesting insight into the maturity of two different nations.

Good point

...

fucking mobile posters, get off this board

...

...

;_; fuck

The fourth is good just to see Keith Richards play a drunken pirate (aka himself) a little more, but as a whole it's not really a movie that was worth being made.

...

Elizabeth's speech was needlessly emulating Braveheart. They are not some freedom fighters, they are thugs, rapists and murderers. What exactly freedom they fight for? To rape and plunder? Wow.

"legitimate"

The man burned an entire town full of people alive for no good reason.

I've seen this image lot of times but it keeps triggering me

>No Koba

How is that possible?

>got told that he was breaking the rules of war
>implying the UK was at war with the colonies
We were literally putting order for not paying your taxes

>Supplying, aiding and abetting "rebels" and "terrorists"
>"No good reason"

?

>Dr Mann
>did nothing wrong

oh ofcourse, except the whole lie to humanity about the suitability of the planet and then leaving the Endurance crew to die and stealing the ship to get back home.

He maybe could have been redeemed somewhat if he came out with the truth when they found him and carried on with the mission.

Fuck Matt Damon.

I agree with almost everything here, but fucking Griffith? As much as i like him he fucked up big time by giving the princess his big hawk cock after his gay lover left him

Tom Hollander is a great actor and very underrated.

Some of these are just obviously edgy choices

bandit keith cheated at a card game

>Horus
>Fat guy from the incredibles
>T-rex from a land before time
>kid from toy story
>Dr Mann
>Xerxes
>Guy from frozen
>Superman
>Alien from independence day
>the thing
>Horus
just no

Aiding in terrorism is enough for you to get shot today.

In Patrick O'Brian's books the Americans are never really the bad guys. They're reluctant enemies during a very brief moment overall, and it's portrayed as tragic. Out of all the changes, that one made the most sense I think. Why make your movie about the short part where they fought the Americans, instead of using the same focus on the war with France as the books predominately had? The way they portrayed Stephen was way more confusing, with people who have only seen the movie not really knowing what a stone-cold motherfucker he is. It would be a neat reveal for a sequel, but that will never happen now.

>The Overmind

I wot

> 2 game of plebs characters

> removing col. Tavington

3/10 it was better before

I agree, I've only seen him in a few movies (In the Loop) but he's always excellent no matter how small the role

>Quaritch number one

Absolutely correct, fucking blue savages. I look forward to Avatar 2: Orbital Bombardment and Unhindered Mining Boogaloo

>This is what butthurt haters actually believe

Cry more.

>mixing real people with fictional ones
Why?

>faggot brother always gets him trouble
>brother runs away and comes back because "muh god" and tries to take away their workforce
>god plagues his people and kills his son
>just wanted to be a good heir to the throne

They were just slaves, anyways

You mean jews

I really don't expect many people to know this character.

the hebrews were literally not the same people that "jews" today

No idea what character that is, but that dog looks fantastic. Looks like the pupper I had when I was a kid.

>watch this
>it's hilarious from the start with the self-conscious manlet
>mfw finding out it was a crime drama thriller, and not a dark comedy at all

It's "Headhunters". You should watch it, because the dog has a great role.

>He believes the Book of Exodus is historical and not a complete work of fiction

Desert tribesmen make up a myth to legitimize the genocide of people in a more fertile land. This cultural myth evolves over time and survives where other die-off or become regarded as mere legends. How many people still worship Ashur?

It's quite a good watch.

Thank you. I'll look it up now.

>everyone keep fucking him over
>somehow now they all mad he switched sides
