I've made the summary of the Sundiata myth, pls enjoy it.

Also, I'm planning on writing a novel where a teacher in some rural town tries to teach this story to their students, the story of their people (Mali).

would appreciate any advice regarding writing something like this.

Sorry user, i did try

Is a TL:DR of a 28 pages pdf telling the myth.

fag

im not him, but i didnt even get past a sentence

draw the myth and give us some pictures

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epic_of_Sundiata

I dunno, can't you understand the text?

(is translated from google).

the real TL:DR Is:
Some hunters kill a buffaloo witch which tell them to pick the ugliest princess from the king.
In reward the king gave them said princess.
They carry her to a king who take her as bride.
She gets pregnant.
The kid, sundiata is born ugly and can't walk.
The king die.
One day years later, another wife makes fun of sundiata mother.
Seeing her mother humilliated, sundiata gains spirit and start walking.
He became a hero, and really strong.
Because of this, the other wife of his father want to poison him, because he's overshadowing his other son.
They leave.
Sundiata start attracting fame and making great heroic acts.
After a while, he listen his old kingdom has been controlled by some evil wizard.
He battles the wizard in some epic battle.
He then wins, peace is brough upon again and then the golden age of his town starts.

Dunno how to make it more TL:DR.

I liked it bubby, don't let these fags get to you. I've never heard of this myth before, gonna check it. Maybe you could habe embellished on the battle with the sorceror at the end though?

...

Sure, there's plenty of myths and stories comming from black people.

Is a shame africa is so underexplored.

myth pics?

My buddy goes to this little African cult in my city, they are from Burkina Faso but they kind of co-opt the Egyptian myths. I think it would be more interesting to hear about their native folklore

why are americans obssesed with black people and their wives racemixing with afroamericans?

yeah, that's my goal, I do hope to write about real african folklore.

It seems silly to try to steal egyptians when there's so much african stories that are pretty much forgotten.

your whore mom

I learned a little about Yoruba mythology in a religions class in college, but hardly remember anything. I do remember the professor saying she'd witnessed real magic happen while she was in Africa though. I think if spirits still lived anywhere on Earth it would be there

...

yeah.

my long term plan is writing several novels dealing with africa and hope in the end make the LoTR of the black people.

would be fun.

Haha sounds like a fun goal, just keep writing duder. Get some African penpals and bounce your ideas off them

last (you)

going to sleep soon.

will try to make a thread tomorrow.

sweet dreams. i'll read your summary later tonight as a bedtime read lol
