Yep, work was somewhat of a slog- poring over a bunch of data and lots of phone calls ahead of a foodborne illness investigation tomorrow morning. That part will be interesting, while training one of the newer employees who hasn't participated in one yet.

Your credit score is gonna determine if it's best to go with one name on the house (if one has great credit and the other one is terrible), or both (similar, but solid credit scores). Obviously, if both of you are in decent shape credit-wise, the bank will be willing to lend you more money up front.

It's a lot more hoops to jump through for getting a house because of 2008, but take your time and do the homework on what you can realistically afford, where you want to move to, etc, etc.
