i love it. So much fun. Always new things to notice.
bretyy gud
Certainly a film that you can rewatch a few times and enjoy. In the end it's a pretty powerful film, and with Marge's "and here you are, and it's a beautiful day" speech it really made quite a simple yet powerful point
Oh yah! It's pretty good yah.
I honestly can't rewatch this because i remember the scene where he tries to sell extra stuff for the car and it makes feel sooooo uncomfortable.
Probably the film that I've seen the most. It's the ultimate "Coen Brothers film". Deakins and Burwell contributions push it into that 10/10 category for me. I still watch it a few times every year.
Don'tcha know?
I don't think I recall that scene. What part are you talking about?

Great shot.
Marge's character and the bleakness of the Fargo world really makes the whole thing shine.
...
Great. My favorite Coen brothers film and arguably their best.
"a.. fucking liar!"
Great movie. Loved it.
Love the show too. Excited for the third season.
The clear coat scene.
First couple of times i saw it i wasnt the biggest fan then it grew on me.
Kinda has a xfiles 90's canadian scifi thriller vibe and it took me a while to 'get' its humor
Can anyone recommend any other dark/black comedies?
Already saw In Bruges, Seven Psychopaths, and The Guard.
>Love the show too. Excited for the third season.
Dear god yes.
Even though Sup Forums and alot of others hated the ayylmao i thought it was a nice nod to the 90's scifi and took me off guard loved it.
>Excited for the third season.
i'm not
there is no way they can top season 2
Worlds End is dark as fuck just dont go into it expecting goddamn Hot Fuzz or SoTD theres tonnes of dark comedies out there i find i get burnt out if i want too many at once.
british ones and series are awesome as well
Thats what they said about s1
>i thought it was a nice nod to the 90's scifi
I just thought it was interesting really. The constant allusions thru the whole season really gave a neat atmosphere, even though there was no real big "payoff" i thought it was great.I mean it was just a flying saucer.
>Thats what they said about s1
s1 was bad tho. s2 actually felt like it was inside the 'fargo universe.' s1 just had some dumb references to it
Already watched that trio as well, but thanks.
WAT
Nah S1 was definetly more 'fargo' than this
S2 has aliens ffs how is that 'fargo' ?
Unless you meme the fish car scene
Hmm.
Keep digging there is too many to meantion.
S3 when?
how does it make you feel uncomfortable?
>S2 has aliens ffs how is that 'fargo' ?
the entire feel of s2 is way more in line with the movie than s1. the alien thing was a reference to the man who wasn't there. it's not like it was a gigantic part of the season anyway, there's only like what, 3 or 4 scenes with them? the shootout scene is the only scene where they actually did anything other than float around and be aliens
comfy
watched and loved series first. couldn't finish the movie, its like the same shit but whit worse actors.
>its like the same shit but whit worse actors.
lol. william h macy should have won a fucking oscar for that movie
with Evan McGregor AND Evan McGregor?
i think it can.
>all that tease with the UFO thru out the season
>it actually happens
>mfw
meh, he's hit or miss. never really thought he was as good as people make him out to be. his only real stand out role is from trainspotting
Best Coen.
Has anyone else seen Kumiko the Treasure Hunter? I thought it was a great film. A friend of mine skipped it because he hadn't seen Fargo, but I don't think it's actually necessary to have seen it to appreciate Kumiko.
the mememen they actually did it
>Best Coen we've had in years was a tv series they had nothing to do with
kek
it's kind of sad how fall the coens have fallen
they haven't done anything significant since no country
>A Serious Man
>Inside Llewyn Davis
>not significant
Oh well their legacy is being preserved quite well in this tv series
what other movie of theirs would make a goat tv show like fargo?i think Oh Brother
>normies dont know about it means its not significant
compared to no country? no, not really
>what other movie of theirs would make a goat tv show like fargo?i think Oh Brother
o brother should be left alone
miller's crossing might be a pretty good tv show
Is there any other movies like it out there?
I love homers oddessy especially in that format
The Guard is that one about the rural Irish garda, right? Yea, that was a good film
The scary thing about it is that it presented a lot of the dangers of rural policing here in Ireland, which I can see from being a reserve garda.
>worse actors
What are you on pal
I want to, but I cant find it anywhere to watch
The Quiet Family is one of the best dark comedies I've ever seen
It stars a young(er) Choi Min-sik and Song Kang-ho
Kickass torrents
not him, but I imagine myself in that situation as Macy and just feel uncomfortable as fuck. That scene is so awkward, it's absurd. The Coens are brilliant.
It's a top level on the tier film, everyone I know loves it, old to young(ish).
I'm from England so it's nice hearing a non plastic sounding Yank accent.
I tried hard not to fall asleep in front of this overrated piece of garbage.
...
I hope you fall into a wood chipper
this is bait, nobody is this pleb
All of the cars in the 90s were ugly
>you're one smooth smoothie, you know?
it's a decent flick but horrible kino
season 2 was worse than season one
except for the scenes where Dodd acted like a sad little puppy that was hilarious
Maybe he's from the letterboxd General. they are usually this pleb.
sent ;^)
My gf is
Dubs confirm that you must dump her.
NOW
idk, the series actors felt more accurate/natural/whatever
the cop woman, the wimpy guy, wrench and the other thug
