8 is the best season by far. Nearly ever episode is a classic.

2004 was the year for South Park. Although I do have a soft spot for the early eps in s1-3 too because of middle school and shit.

I like critter Christmas but non of those episodes make me physically laugh like the early seasons do. By season 8 it was starting to feel very by the books
