Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck...

X_X holeeee fuckkkkk this album is saddd

thousands in life insurance and a grammy too
damn........

>muh dead wife

Patton Oswald Jr

It's a good album but in a way I kinda wish there were 1 or 2 tracks not about his wife. Maybe I'm selfish for thinking that. I dunno.

Yep. Fake indie. About as real as Bon Iver's trip to the woods. Or Sandy Hook.

Fiction

this album is in one ear and out the other

words and message alone aren't enough to make good music

I'd imagine your wife suddenly dying of cancer a month after your kid was born would probably feel like a whole album worth of sadness

Bon Iver syndrome

>Yep. Fake indie. About as real as Bon Iver's trip to the woods. Or Sandy Hook.
ding ding ding

about as real as Grizzly Bear dude not being able to afford health insurance

the treachery runs DEEP

Exploitative the album

it's fucking fake.

bullshit manipulation aided and abetted by other fake ass shit like Pitchfork

CNN tier bullshit

ESPN tier bullshit

Washington Post tier bullshit

too fucking sappy for the Hallmark channel

F-A-K-E

>F-A-K-E
for sure. these dumb fuckers had to give it a 9 on p4k. Vince McMahon is is more subtle.

Real real fucked up.

>needs 2 be good music
nigga we listen to recordings of wind blowing through grass and pontificate on it's meaning.

>about as real as Grizzly Bear dude not being able to afford health insurance
about as real as Gavin Newsom's niece's talent.

As real as Bill Kornreich's daughter's band's 'I don't feel safe' hotline

Bumping to bring attention to this soap opera bullshit.

>this whole thread
ow the edg

>About as real as Grimes being a woman

>as real as DFA records

At least Boney Bear did some singing on that album which contained music songs.

Fake as fuck.

All pitchfork level indie has been for a while.

I made no comment on the authenticity or sincerity of the music, just that it was music. ACLAM is hardly music according to Phil himself.

Fine, and i will make no comment to the sincerity or authenticity of Wrestlemania.

...

ITT: musicians who killed their wives to receive BNM

>Boney Bear
I'll be frank.

Bon Iver working w/ Kanye was about as real as Beyonce and Jay-Z ransomly showing up at a Grizzly Bear show.

To be clear, what I am saying, is that 'indie' rock, as defined by say Pitchfork for the last 10 years or so.....is fake ass globalist propaganda.

>To be clear, what I am saying, is that 'indie' rock, as defined by say Pitchfork for the last 10 years or so.....is fake ass globalist propaganda.
truth needs moar smug

>9 posters

yeah sorry to call out your whole fake ass scene

let it slide and don't bring up this fraud muh dead wife artist ever again

I'm getting off topic but Washington Post is fucking disgusting

yesterday our daughter asked me if mama swims...

*Today

I'm an idiot.

Honestly the saddest thing about this album for me, after listening to him grieve for his wife and feel so despondent with a child, is the whole "death is real" repeating motif.

I liked The Microphones when Phil was writing about mortality and death and making it narrative or metaphorical. I like plenty of artists that do the same thing. This felt like him saying "no, fuck all that, death fucking sucks and that's it, fuck this"

I have to say it's really made me scared to die.

I don't know if I like it or not though. I think The Glow Pt 2 and Mount Eerie are considerably better.
