Documentaries
Watch this instantly. Don't read anything about it, go in dry. Best documentary I've ever seen.
Best intro song too (Eels).
Recommend me some based noir documentaries.
...
I own it. 9 hours long. It's really only interviews, though. Best watched before getting redpilled, definitely.
Best documentary ever made.
that's an awful poster
Post a better one.
...
Cool. MOAR
...
This Vice documentary is great, available on YouTube. I recommend it. The gard alone makes this worth it.
>getting redpilled
You have to be 18 to post here.
underaged detected. If you can't resist the troll, don't come here.
You can be older than 18 and still post actually

Dindu Nuffin?

>it's a documentary about the American "justice" system
every time lmao
Hard mode: unbiased documentaries.
Subject?

fishing
Damn.
Pretty touching
The Leviathan, a giganti sea monster of untold proportions that feasts and blue whales and ravages the coast lines of Greenland
It costs thousands of brave fishers and seamen their lives every year
...
Are you bullshitting me mate?
literally saw no one actually fishing
No
I don't really know how I feel about the west memphis three documentaries. For each one they come up with another suspect only to do a 180 and reject it all in the next.
and also
>celebrities are supporting them
>they must be innocent
true enough
being influenced to disagree with celebrities is still being influenced by them
very anti-PETA

Who /ChuckNorrisVSCommunism/ here?
Fucking great, about how Romanian citizems during the cold war would sneak in vhs tapes of blockbusters through customs. The whole thing became a cultural movement.

Has anyone seen this? Is it any good?
The GOAT coming through
Stabbingly cool.
Guys, write a bit about what these docs are about. Thanks.
Is there a documentary about the killer in that movie?
>plz no jump kicks
>spoonfeed me !!1
faggot
>don't ask me to make a damn effort!
Pansy.
>>don't ask me to make a damn effort!
>when you are literally too lazy and/or stupid to open up google
wew lad
I thought this was going to be legit about some /x/ stuff, but no, apparently, it's just some peta movie against animal cruelty plus artsy fancy obscurity/poetry.
Sounds cool but not what I'm looking for right now.
I wrote a bit for my suggestions. If you're going to bother posting an image, you can write 5 words about the subject, goofball.
i don't think it really has that agenda, i think it's just the artsy fancy obscurity/poetry
Dear Zachary
youtube.com
Don't read any comments or reviews or descriptions. Just watch it.
>when you are literally too lazy and/or stupid to open up google
Some of us don't want to get spoiled by discovering too much, dumbass.
Sup Forums still isn't into errol morris no matter how much I've been posting about the fog of war, the thin blue line, Mr death, unknown known or gates of heaven.
pffffft get that shitty propaganda outta here. The west memphis 3 are guilty as shit.

I love Errol Morris. All his films are great
I love Baseball but haven't seen The Civil War yet. I'm saving it.
looks like the fish is already dead
Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father
This one if you like to be hit by a ton of bricks right in the feels
the best
sure is Reddit in here

Johnathan Meades makes weird, high-brow documentaries about art, architecture and culture. This is one of his best, imo.
...
>robert durst
>jew
anyone know what happened to him afterwards?
He was by far the least Jewish looking member of his family
I sort of suspect that his mother was an adulteress and that's why she offed herself and he didn't run the family business
...
Anyone know of good nature docs. Non animal nature pref.
ie. Meru (2015), Eiger: wall of death (2010).
not amazing but a good way to spend the night
Just watched Cropsey.
Fucking good.
...
Just to irritate the neo-cons
>Michael Moore
No.
Love Chomsky but Moore? No.
...
...
Moore actually talks very little in it. Maybe one, or two ten second spots.
way to out yourself as a redditor you projecting shrimp dick
Documentaries not fiction.
seriously the funniest shit I've ever seen.
GRIZZLY MAN
Worth watching if I already watched the trilogy?
That Going Clear Scientology document was utter gbarbage, how is it so praised? It was literally nothing but fucking few jokes and people laughing at it.
Learned basically fucking nothing about it. What the fuck did that document even document
Shit fucking shti cock sufck

...
> you will never be a VHS bootleg kingpin in cold war era romania
Why even live?
Well, you're caught
Holy shit that was funny. I can't help but like the guy
Prefer this imo
You my nigga, user. I try to post Morris too but this isn't a board about movies anyways. Thin Blue Line is one of my favorite films
so weird
Fantastic
The greatest doc ever made probably
TTBL documents the specific case very well and the closing act is fucking shocking.
>mfw the kid has no fucking remorse or any kind of feelings. I was fucking shocked how neutral he was about everything.
I used to be a huge fan of Elliott Smith back in my mopey teen years. It's underwhelming, to say the least. They don't discuss anything in depth or really of interest. It's a general overview on everything that anyone who knows about him already heard 1,000 times over already.
If you want an interesting and entertaining look at a wounded musician than this is the pinnacle of that. Even if you think his music is trash, which 99% of it is, it's still riveting. The guy had been documenting his entire life so it's as complete as you're gonna get.
Ah yes. Canada's ''''''''''''''justice'''''''''''''''' system
I wasn't impressed. This was done by the same guy and is better, imo. Tackles the origins of a few urban legends.
