Fourteen defining tenets of Fascism

Fourteen defining tenets of Fascism
Lawrence Britt

3. Identification of enemies/scapegoats as a unifying cause.
4. The supremacy of the military/avid militarism.
5. Rampant sexism.
6. A controlled mass media.

8. Religion and ruling elite tied together.
9. Power of corporations protected.
10. Power of labor suppressed or eliminated.
11. Disdain and suppression of intellectuals and the arts.

"Doctor"

Funny how all of these things can be said for socialism or communism as well, even if history ignorant liberals try to deny it.

Anyone calling Trump a fascist is proving they're one themselves.

>benderlaughing.gif

Hitler wasn't a fascist...National SOCIALIST party

>disdain and supression of intellectuals and the arts
Implying that the left is intellectual because it's painted that way.

and Islam calls itself a religion of peace - what's your point?

Not implying anything about the left at all

usuncut.com/politics/trump-prepares-eliminate-arts-funding/

steals the election, wants to overturn all of the great progress that was made during the past 8 years.

the usa is totally fucked!

Took control of the Healthcare system and made it worse

progress? are you autistic?? how could a filthy nigger get anything done in office when his entire race and culture relies on communistic welfare that the white man has to pay for?

"Democratic People's Republic of Korea".

Oh thank God, apparently they're actually a democracy. That was scary, I was SO sure they were an insane. Dystopia dictatorship. thank GOD they call themselves a democratic republic that belongs to their people. That one thing totally overwrites everything else.

6. They were saying today they're not gonna sit and take the media's coverage. That they're gonna do something about it.

11. See him complain about SNL, celebrities and arts funding.

All that meant was that they'd use government spending to drop unemployment to zero. They were still far right.

Why fund and enable cry babies

President orange twitler

If you can't justify

- importing millions of foreigners who've been a disaster for 4 long generations here and are a disaster in their own homelands and other Western nations

- interfering in the civil war of a nation half way around the world

- letting elites drive down wages of working class through mass immigration

then just cry "fascism". Saves you from having to think about things.

Yeah, right. I remember the last time those commies were all about securing the power of corporations and obsessing over crime ad punishment.

>14. Fraudulent elections.
This could arise under any system.

Import is only temporary. Might even get to keep the skilled ones. That civil war is a breeding ground for terrorists, its in your interest to keep the region stable. You already let your elites drive down wages through legislation, laughable minimum wage and right wing union bashing.

I'm glad to see not all of Sup Forums is retarded. Thank you, you three.

Don't get it, is this one of those irrelevant "look! Hillary is evil too!" posts or a post saying the business community was fine with her?

If the former, the difference is she wasn't filling her cabinet with them.

Kek.

Yup.

Fascism is the whole premise of government in the first place. No need to define and compare anything.

#11 cutting funding to pbs and mpr already

#8 god god god in speech

The bitch is corrupt a loser as well as her supporters she never had the opportunity to fill her cabinet with your like minded ilk putz

It's pretty much all there for a long time. Trump didn't start the fire

>not knowing what a doctorate is

Well...she never got the chance to put a cabinet together so who are you to say?

Mass media has always been controlled

Right. Because if the guvmint don't pay for no arts, dey won't be no arts.

According to Ms. Streep, Hollywood and foreigners are responsible for all thing artistic. Is she, gulp, wrong?

Defunding of pbs and mpr already done

That list has been debunked countless times.
What no one can deny is that fascism is collectivism. And no one can deny that it rejected individualism. And no one can pretend that it was not statism - it was all about everything is the state and nothing outside the state.

I ask anyone with even a shred of intellectual honesty, which American political party more closely sounds like that?

pic related, Mussolini, head of the National Directorate of the Italian Socialist Party

Dr. Britt is not a doctor, though. Fake news.

you expect anything more from the sort of guy who mocks this?

the scary bit is that these characteristics have been known for years, and still this happens

>cutting government funding to the arts
>same as suppression of the arts
you fucking snowflakes are hysterical

Eh. Modern governments in developed industrial societies usually offer checks, balances, recourse, and some measure of opportunity for the public to influence policy.

Real true fascism is when the state and the monied interest are bound together, inseparable with no recourse or opportunity for the public offered.

I'm only pointing this out because the US for all its troubles continues to be one of the freest countries on the planet. You'd hardly know it because of the tenor of the times and everyone's constant bitching but that's part of the equation too. When that freedom slips away for real, as it did under Mussolini for example, the most staunch Anarchist going today would give their left eye to live in the the US of today.

Wipe shit on a wall set a flag fire or a trash can and they will call it art

The scary bit is that it has been proven to be bullshit as has 'Dr' Britt.

You keep on falling for any information that fits the narrative you want though...

I doubt she would have, plus people would be bitching just as much and concocting more stupid conspiracy theories about her cabinet picks regardless. Completely irrelevant now.

Not the media or hollywood

>pic related
It's sound that has to be explained these days, isn't it?

>all of these things can be said for socialism or communism
well.. let's see:

>1. Powerful and continuing expressions of nationalism
no.
>2. Disdain for the importance of human rights.
no.
>3. Identification of enemies/scapegoats as a unifying cause.
.. this can apply, yes.
>4. The supremacy of the military/avid militarism
supremacy, no. Avid militarism, yes.
>5. Rampant sexism.
lol no.
>6. A controlled mass media.
if Soviet style communism, yes, otherwise, no.
>7. Obsession with national security.
see 6
>8. Religion and ruling elite tied together.
hell no, pun intended.
>9. Power of corporations protected.
no.
>10. Power of labor suppressed or eliminated.
fuck no.
>11. Disdain and suppression of intellectuals and the arts.
no way.
>12. Obsession with crime and punishment
not really, no, unless Soviet blah blah etc.
>13. Rampant cronyism and corruption.
no.
>14. Fraudulent elections.
if Soviet, no elections at all. If democratic socialism, then it's direct democracy.

.. so all in all; the scoreboard comes back: no match.

What a fucking joke you are you little whiny bitch.

I got a match your face and my ass

>2012+5
>Thinks democracy is the right way to rule a nation when even ancient greek philosophy concluded it as a corrupt form of governing
>"Democracy = everyone rules to their own benefit"
Unless we can learn to rule in everyone's benefit, every other option is shitty and causes suffering.

>They were saying today they're not gonna sit and take the media's coverage. That they're gonna do something about it.
they're turning into (((them))) real quick.

But she did so much good!

That Iran deal was a sweetheart!

Oh and they'd have kept ACA! Sure it fucks over most of the middle class but if you are poor--free healthcare! It didn't fix anything really but it sure looked good to people who get help with rent from their parents and deny it while drinking in the lower east side with their lib friends!

>Trump wants to scale back the Gestapo-like CIA spying on it's own citizens
watch the speech he gave to the CIA, and reconsider.

Most people realize that a completely free market will have the same problems as communism eventually. You want the private and public sector to have the same push and pull as eachother. People feel like private is starting to have more pull and its throwing off the balance. But when you give the public sector more strength people will always ALWAYS call it communist fascism.

You can't rule to 'everyone's' benefit. It is an impossibility unless you eliminate most of the people.

One size will never fit all.

We all no theres are no free markets it's rigget from the bottom to the top get over it snowflakes

>>all of these things can be said for socialism or communism
>well.. let's see:
. Powerful and continuing expressions of nationalism
>no.
lol, Mao wasn't nationalist. Castro wasn't nationalist. Derp.
. Disdain for the importance of human rights.
>no.
Gulags, forced famines, the hungermurder in the Ukraine, political prisoners, etc., etc.
. Identification of enemies/scapegoats as a unifying cause.
>.. this can apply, yes.
. The supremacy of the military/avid militarism
>supremacy, no. Avid militarism, yes.
Splitting hairs.
. Rampant sexism.
>lol no.
You must be fucking kidding.
. A controlled mass media.
>if Soviet style communism, yes, otherwise, no.
So free media in China under Mao? In Cuba?
. Obsession with national security.
>see 6
. Religion and ruling elite tied together.
>hell no, pun intended.
False. The religion of the state is what socialism is all about.
. Power of corporations protected.
>no.
Unless you think of the party as a monopolistic oligarchical corporation
. Power of labor suppressed or eliminated.
>fuck no.
Ha, labor has ZERO power under communism
. Disdain and suppression of intellectuals and the arts.
>no way.
Someone tell Solzhenitsyn and someone else look up the word Samizdat
. Obsession with crime and punishment
>not really, no, unless Soviet blah blah etc.
Because regimes in other communist regimes were chill
. Rampant cronyism and corruption.
>no.
Ha ha ha.
. Fraudulent elections.
Or rather none.

You haven't heard Trump crew's statements about the media today? The republican party is just as responsible for the Iraq war (more so). And it wasn't a journalist that gave Hillary the questions in advance by the way you nitwit. Don't forget Trump openly talking about roughing people up at his speeches and implying Mexicans can't be judging his court cases. Congrats, I'm all triggered now, get in my safe space so i can headbutt you.

How about compromise and win-win? Why does benefit need to be absolute?

This is Plato's argument for every totalitarian utopian torture regime ever.

you say this in a thread where liberals see a small move to the right as fascism?

...

>9. Power of corporations protected.
no.

Corporations didn't become popular until the charter provision was weakened. Nobody wanted to bother with them before that. Afterward they won various other rights and privileges mostly through the courts. They are not so much protected as they are immune and those immunities make them worthwhile for business. If the original charter rules were re established corporations would swiftly fall our of fashion and business would either find or create the next best thing.

>it wasn't a journalist that gave Hillary the questions in advance by the way you nitwit
Just a CNN employee. Not a journalist like former Clinton aide George Stephanopoulos, or like son of Mario Cuomo and brother of Andrew Cuomo Chris Cuomo, or a serious journalist like Chris 'I worked in several Dem senate offices' Matthews.

2017 and not realizing that the Dem party and journalism are almost entirely overlapping circles.

I think openly lying to the media and making major threats against them for calling him out should be a massive concern for both sides, much more so than raising taxes or changing zoning laws.

>Why does benefit need to be absolute?

Finite resources.

The media has been biased as all fuck, on all sides, for years. Fuck outta here. The news should be reporting news, not agendas. Novel idea, I know.

Fascism is collectivist in the sense that it cares most about the interests of society as a racial entity . Furthermore, fascists traditionally despise socialism and communism. It's an ideology that favors a mixed economy simply because of the competition aspect. You can see how economic leftist tendencies play out under fascism if you take a look at the Strasser-Crisis. Fascism strives to overcome class conflict by unifying under one racial identity while communism wants to resolve the class conflict itself. The more capitalistic a nation is the more it pushes class conflict to its limits. Then it results in one or the other. While fascism isn't in its very essence capitalistic it's the result of capitalism.

Mr Obama not only routinely lied to the media, but was caught spying on the AP. Mr Trump's "threats" are what? Saying he won't cooperate with their hatchet jobs?

>yfw you are white and well off and don't give a shit about any of the lesser classes or races in your country

Believe it or not, democrats are centrist. Most educated people are centrists. Most people in media are educated and therefore centrists. If you lived outside of America you'd see the republican party has gotten so far right now that they're bordering on extremist.

Not true, race does not have to be involved in fascism.

Fascism is collectivist like socialism. Mussolini developed the theory of fascism as a purer articulation of the socialism he had always espoused. Hitler, of course, joined a socialist workers' party and renamed it National Socialism. Fascism is the child of socialism. Of course there was a lot of infighting between fascism and communism. A civil war. But fascism bears no resemblance to small-government, free market conservatism that emphasizes individualism.

This is why your side lost. When will you mongoloids understand there is no correct political choice? The things that divide the left and right are different stances in gray subjects? Your gray is no whiter than mine. Stop demonizing whole groups of diverse people who don't agree with you, andaybe people will CONSIDWR your reasons for your positions, instead of laying a sheet of paper down with virtue signaling, and then standing on it and claiming to be above the rest of us. It's asininely ignorant.

I don't believe it. And I don't care how people who get their impression of America from distorted left-wing media outlets see us.

The TEA party faction *is* extremist, and has been even labeled as domestic terrorists by homeland security.

Fuck smartphone autocorrect.
