How different would Goodfellas be if Tommy Devito survived (not get whacked) would everything be okay?

How different would Goodfellas be if Tommy Devito survived (not get whacked) would everything be okay?

>That reference to the Great Train Robbery

kino

Literally who cares, Pesci had a better character in Casino (which was also a better film)

'Delete this'

Oh, look at me, I did something some old movie did, aren't I a genius?

Just kidding, Scorsese is a god.

they killed him because he was getting too fresh, if he didnt die, he would have reached levels of freshness never seen before.

no ball would go unbroken

How about "fuck no" ?

Answer my question.

But what if Tommy was made? (Not killed) how different would event of Goodfellas be?

>Watch Goodfellas
>They're all bad fellas

I care, thats the reason why i asked.

he would probably start stealing/fighting with the wrong people ,cause a whole shit ton of problems, and he would either get killed by other mobsters/police or life in prison

Sigh...dumd pepe the fucking frogposter.

Sigh...no wonder why Sup Forums got looked down by Reddit

But if Tommy was a made-man, wouldnt Henry and Jimmy be working for him?

Would Henry still doing drugs and rat everyone out?

This post really made me think

>wouldnt Henry and Jimmy be working for him
I think so, but tommy would probably start trying to organize stupid shit like robbing from federal banks and other mobsters

also I cant remember exactly but wasnt tommy working with henry in the drug business? Though he would probably be scared to rat on tommy

Casino is a less tightly constructed film unlike Good fellas, which has no weak scenes.

I think you are 100% correct.
I think you are 100% right.

Also, fuck Reddit and 9FAG!

Really?

Casino>Goodfellas
I like both of them a lot but after seeing them at least a dozen of times in my life I am pretty sure about casino being better

Tommy Devito, Henry and Jimmy vs Jaqen H Ghar.

Who would win?

to me casino was much less enjoyable, there were fewer interesting/likeable characters, sharon stone was fucking insufferable, didnt like the setting, much less humor, almost no memorable scenes and the voice overs felt forced.

also the most obvious thing is that it felt like goodfellas 2.0.

He didn't die. He's the one shooting at the camera at the end. Did you even watch the movie?

Yes.

That was Henry dreaming/thinking about what could have been if Tommy survived.

How the hell are we supposed to see inside someone's dream? This isn't Inception. I thought this movie was based on a true story.

its common knowledge that if someone is shot in the head, their dreams leak out

Because WE as audience are following Henry in everything he does.

Duh!!

How are we suppose to hear Henry voice every time?

>watch Goodfellas
>"They Often Call Me Speedo" starts playing

Brb testing

>sharon stone was fucking insufferable
she was supposed to be you idiot

I go back and fourth between the two. I decided a long time ago that I liked Casino better, but then I get in a mood and I watch Goodfellas like 3 or 4 times in a month and start doubting myself, but Casino is always my go-to comfy movie

I don't know what that other user is talking about. My favorite thing about Casino is that I don't feel that There is a bit of fat on it, not one scene I could do without. And the voice overs make sense. They're similar to Casino because they're both BASED OFF OF BOOKS WRITTENBY THE SAME WRITER WHO WROTE THEMIN THE SAME STYLE! I hate it when people act like Scorsese was plagiarizing himself or some stupid shit.

>sharon stone was fucking insufferable
this statement made him look like a fucking retard anyway

Nice film knowledge, Tarantino

He would go on to form one of the biggest bands of the 60s.
