the next album should be bm again so they'll make a full circle

>AOTY
>any Ulver release

You gotta be shitting me

HAHAHA KILL YOUR FUCKING SELF

>ulver

nah, their next album is going to be tropical house. THEN they return to bm.

Who?

>ulver is for nu-males because this list somebody on the internet made says so

We guess what they will do next

>reggae rap ambient synthwave

>someone spent actual real life time making this

pretty funny but really quite a strange thing to do

>not knowing Perdition City, Shadows of the Sun or Bergtatt

Did you arrive here today?

fuck you and that crappy chart!

thanks user

two tracks in, and this shit is fucking fire. I've only heard bergtatt and perdition city before this, but this is probably the one I like the most so far. still want to listen to more of their work

Their "live" album from last year is great. It's mostly trippy, Swans-esque soundscapes. There's also a great alternate version of Nowhere/Catastrophe on it.

Kveldssanger is my favorite of theirs from any era. That's some god-tier dark folk, right there.

well it's all laid out properly, is illustrated and has a coherent colour scheme so it must be right, right?

Pretty much just soulseeked their discography right now, lol

Yeah fuck it. I'm halfway done with this album and I'm legit happy as fuck. They seem to be unable to produce something bad. While being mostly into Black Metal and Neofolk, I absolutely love anything from Ulver, and this album won't be an exception.

>new Ulver
missed it
>it's pop
ok
>it's great pop
NIIIICE!

Is this passing as Synthwave?

How the fuck are they so good.

>they invaded my metal safe space without vindicating my cultural agenda so if you listen to them you're gay

well I am shocked SHOCKED to read someone accusing ULVER of all bands of not being real metal

>black metal AOTY in 1995
Your gonna have to do some homework there, user.

Fuck that there's one dude on soulseek with the new album in 320 and his queue is in the hundreds.

Nemoralia gave me a big Tears for Fears vibe. Is that accurate with this album?

Yep. Couple of longer and more experimental tracks but for the most part it's a fitting sample of the album.

The music is really good but I'm not sure how well Garm's voice works over synth-pop.

this is pretty fucking true

vocal timbre barely matters to me though so it's ok

I honestly didn't expect to like it so much, Ulver are fucking incredible no matter what they do
