So was he good or not?

He was excellent.

this

Most professional.

He was a big Bond

He was different, like any other Bond actor.

casino royal was literally his best
everything else was shit

He was shit

Only better than Lazenby

Dobby/10

I liked his Bond tbhwyf

I liked him in Casino Royale.

In the rest of them he seemed bored, washed up, and generally unemotive.

I liked him a lot. He seemed smooth enough, but rough enough to carry himself in a confrontation.

He might have been good but the whole franchise went to shit after Brosnan.

I liked him a lot, Casino Royale was his best for sure, none of his other movies quite captured the greatness that CR did but they were all still decent

>It's another 90s kids thinks Bond was born and killed with Brosnan episode

>after Brosnan
>after

Casino Royale seemed to do everything right. Has there been an action/thriller movie that good since then?

...

Casino Royale 9/10
Quantum of Solace 7/10
Skyfall 5/10
Spectre 2/10

More like:

CR: 8.5/10.
QoS: 3.5/10.
Skyfall: 7.5/10.
Spectre: 1/10.

I'd like to know this too. From what I've read (haven't seen it yet), Man from Uncle was recived fairly well over here, without being AS good as CR. But there must be more than one movie; it's been 10 years after all.

>"it was smee, james"
>"was getting caught part of your plan?"
>the whole clusterfuck that was QoS

CR was excellent but the rest was shit

He is good, but being forced to play a role he fucking hates and doesn't want to play anymore is making his acting shittier.

>we will probably never get a comfy bond movie as good as casino royale again
hold me bros

7/10 good

Skyfall was great, fuck off.

Go ahead and call me a pleb
Casino Royale 9/10
Quantum of Solace 4/10
Skyfall 9/10
Spectre 8/10

it was good but not even close to casino royale quality

Pleb

you got casino royale right but your other ratings are horrible

High school ratings.

>Spectre
>good
They got a great actor like Waltz to play easily the most beloved Bond villain and somehow they managed to completely ruin it.
Fuck that movie.

>Rating Spectre THAT high.

Casino Royale 9/10
Quantum of Solace 5/10
Skyfall 8/10
Spectre 4/10

Quantum isn't that bad.

Yep. Better than anyone imagined he would be.

Casino Royale - 10/10
QoS - 7/10
Skyfall - 9/10
Spectre 7.5/10

Yes, he was good. But the movies are boring.

>Spectre rated that high

My friend

He was the Bond franchise's reaction to Bourne and Hunt, both of whom made the old character look pretty stale.
He did a great job revitalizing the whole series and making it seems less crusty.

The only good thing I can say about Spectre is that Waltz's Blofeld has the coolest appearance of all Blofelds, specially one he gets his trademark scar.

Casino Royale > Skyfall > Spectre > Quantum of Solace

Mr White > Le Chiffre > Dominic Greene > IT WAS MEEE, JAMES

Vesper > Madeleine > who the fuck cares about the other bitches

qos was better than spectre to be honest family

CR 9.5/10
QoS 4/10
Skyfall 6/10
Spectre 7/10

QoS is a decent movie tbqh some really good action scenes it had the potential to be great if not for the headache inducing editing

Aged like milk.

nah, he suffered the brosnan curse
start off with a god tier movie and then progressively get worse

>not liking fun cheesy bond movies

the scene at the opera in qos is hilarious, the editing is a clusterfuck of steven seagal cuts and some pretentious 17 year old trying his hardest to make something look like deep film-making

No.

yeah that is probably the best example of the bad editing, i used to have a webm that i lost and people were shocked at how horrible it was.

seriously you couldn't even tell what the fuck was happening

If you blink, you may miss a shot

>During shoots, Craig would go out on little shopping trips. On one of these trips he found some gloves, brought them to director Sam Mendes, and said he would like to wear them in a scene.

"And Sam Mendes at this point was beyond caring and was like, 'Whatever yes, Daniel, anything you want,'" Lyne said.

>But the big problem came during the editing process. Craig had worn the gloves during a scene in a casino, but later in the scene, an enemy tries to shoot Bond's gun, but can't because it's only activated with his fingerprints. In the editing room, someone spoke up according to Lyne, and said that this didn't make sense. If he's wearing gloves, how did the gun recognize his fingerprints?

"Sam Mendes is sitting there going, 'Oh shit,'" Lyne said. "And then producers start working out what it's going to cost to reshoot the entire scene because he let Craig wear these special gloves he bought ... this figure just balloons to millions and millions for this single scene. And they figure out they can't afford it."

So, they had to digitally remove the gloves from Craig's hands. That's why they look so weird if you watch the scene.

Best one since Connery. Anyone disagreeing is likely either a nostalgia Brosnanfag or a contrarian.

this, though I still prefer Lazenby because at least he looks the part

/thread

This.

Too bad Camille didn't come back for another movie.

>ywn never fug a angry qt

for us

>tfw they never saw each other again

Instead Bond runs away with some useless Frenchie, fuck this.

Ehh she pretty much friendzoned Bond (a first for the series, she seemed traumatized by her near rape that Bond was like OK and finally Bond was trying to come to his feels about Vesper. That was one time deal and honestly she was one of the worst Bond girls not counting Haile, Denise, Kim Basinger or Morgan Fairchild combined.

Funny how the traumatic experience was exactly the reason why he didn't fuck her, but in the next movie he sneaks up to a rape victim and a prostitute in a shower.

Bland, dead eyes of a shark. Boring monotone delivery.

I'd say he played a cold-blooded killer perfectly

Which is what Fleming was going for.

Yeah. I mean, I loved him as Bond, don't get me wrong. He played the character perfectly, so he was great.
