Most underrated Smiths song? My vote goes to Barbarism Begins At Home

jeane

that song has a killer bass line

For me, it's I Won't Share You

that song isn't underrated at all. overrated, if anything.
the album version of this charming man.

how the fuck did this song not end up on either the debut, or either of the two compilations anyone gives a shit about. most of their other stuff that isn't on a compilation is just demos, but this is a real gem of a song.

rubber ring desu

pretty girls make graves or i don't owe you anything. basically anything from the debut that isn't obvious

never liked that one

they all sound the same, very bland

needless to say I deleted their discography on itunes and have no remorse

I Started Something I Couldn't Finish.

Was mr shankly the smiths or morrissey? Either way, that song.
Kill yourself faggot

I don't know much about how they're rated, but The Boy With the Thorn in His Side and Asleep are da bes mayne.

Smiths

Reel around the Fountain

Well I Wonder

These. Also Oscillate Wildly.

Accept yourself

none of their songs are underrated. their a beloved and much talked-about group.

Suffer Little Children

Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others.

Why? Because it's their best song, and some people think it's one of their worst.

Take it a step further...Suffer Little Children (Troy Tate Sessions). Sounds moodier overall, just wish the production was better.

Unforgettable opening, solid hook, samey lyrics that don't make Moz sound like a homo. 2/3

Girl Afraid.

Lyrics ruin the pretty guitar work that song has.

If you listen to the Smiths for the lyrics, you're not a fan of music. You don't even understand the band.

I would seriously suggest you stop posting on music boards. Music isn't really your thing.

OHH AM III STILL ILLLL

oscillate wildly

Suffer Little Children without question

The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. Best Smiths lyrics bar none. Beautiful and creepy.

Basically half the tracks from s/t.

They peaked hard with that and Hatful.

Friday I'm In Love

Wonderful Woman

You've Got Everything Now

stop me if you think you've heard this one before

i keep mine hidden

they peaked with Meat Is Murder

>i don't now what underrated means
the posts

>Accept yourself
This one.

I Keep Mine Hidden

>They peaked on meat is murder

Shit opinions desu

I fucking hate that Vegan Faggot with all my life.

A Rush and a Push and the Land is Ours

you can type whatever you want with a keyboard

well i wonder

Their best song, and one of my favorite songs ever.

K

The Death of a Disco Dancer
Those synths at the end are amazing

desu familia, for me its The Night Has Opened My Eyes

Is TNHOME really underrated, though? It's in my top 3 either way.

Are any Smiths songs really underrated? They have a relatively small discography while still being widely revered critically. And underrated by who exactly?

I mean I guess you could say Work is a Four Letter Word as a reply ITT but at that point you're just being dumb.

That being said, for someone really into The Smiths going through their singles is nice because many songs and b-sides are mixed differently and sometimes it's quite noticeable

this and also Sweet And Tender Hooligan

The fanbase at large. It's just an inevitable fact that some tracks will slip through the cracks of discussion.

This is my #2 probably. Probably my favorite buildup in any song, and I love those drums at the end.

well I
won
ndeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer

I know it's over
because it's actually their best song

Still Ill
ask me why and I'll spit in ur eye

Asleep

s/t actually is their worst by far, it's just a shittier sounding Hatful of Hollow.
