Please enjoy the very first No Homes in Peace collaborative release. Strange sounds, mystical visions, and ethereal feelings lie ahead as you traverse this fantastical creation.
An associated physical CD will also be produced very soon if you wish to purchase a copy for your collection - stay posted.
I am listening to this even though hip hop is not my preferred style at all. Blush has something going on. The music is solid. Not perfect but solid. What I don't like is the self-referentiality of hip hop but I guess not much can be done about that. The flow is quite alright but to me the voice sounds too small in there. Trembling and a bit shivering but not in a good way.
Whoops, I meant "Deborah Cliff". I'm now a Blush. I think it also has to do with the mixing of the voice. Could use some more oomph, especially since you seem to be about the lyrics. Right now it ducks too much behind the music for my taste.

I like what I've heard from these as well:
Thanks for listening, while I love the single too the full length is going to be so fucking good. I feel like I can say that because I'm not really going to be doing THAT much on the album. Just some guitar here and there I'm guessing. It's really going to be way more about the other guys on the album haha. The full length is going to be really varied lots of different sounds, even more fleshed out instrumentation...it's gonna be dope trust me.
Since nothing got posted that is weird and dark experimental music I will just go in order, I guess.
This has some appeal but it's not really for me because of the style.
Especially the first track sounds very generic to my ears. It screams "instrumental hip hop beats" to me.
But overall it has potential. I can appreciate the production.
I listened to Transient Life. I'm not a fan of electric guitars so I went straight to the new split. This is more to my liking. I think I already listened to Epiglottis's part when it got posted in an earlier thread.

Hey, this is not bad at all! It's HNW but it doesn't fall into the trap of being long and boring.
I'd love to hear more about your general process and any upcoming projects.

Thanks for the feedback, it actually isn't that much about the lyrics until the last two tracks, I put a lot of effort into making the beats emotive and unique.
This is definitely creative, would dig a whole album of this stuff

Who art thou, fellow dungeoneer?
I listened to the entire album. It's surprisingly unobtrusive and nice to listen to. To others it might appear as "not interesting enough", though. Some variation or shorter pieces might be better. But I liked the hypnotic nature of the songs. I wish the ending of the last song wasn't as abruptly.
damn, thanks, i honestly didn't expect people to like it this much
Why is that?
thanks man
This album was mostly made using some puredata patches I whipped up run through various effects, then the last two were all sample manipulation. In general I like to experiment with whatever technique(s) I'm using for a track to find out what I can do to make different sounds I like, then once I've got a good handle on that I'll start recording. That way I can make longer and more interesting tracks almost entirely improvised, which in this style of music is important to me. When I try and improvise without knowing what'll produce certain sounds, I end up with a lot of uninteresting dead space I need to cut out later
I've got a couple more albums currently in the works. One is sort of close to being finished, it has more of a standard noise sound with lots of contact mic shit and feedback and what not, all loosely based around an apocalyptic concept. I'm also working on another one that'll be more atmospheric/melodic and a lot more based in compositions rather than improvisation, but I don't even have any tracks for that one written so it'll be quite a while
not sure, just felt as if people would think it's shit
I'm very critical of my own music idk

Jesus you have great variation for bandcamp harsh noise, I like how all the sounds kind of swell at different rates throughout the songs, it actually keeps me interested.

I've got some left. The cassettes are functional but I made them to look pretty as well so you can just put them on your shelf. You can just download Dunkle Tage, play it and pretend it's your cassette player making the noises.
It's okay, but not okay enough to pay 8 bucks for it.

Strong recs:
Personally, I feel less motivated to listen to music the creator is unsure about. It turns off my entire interest for the artist. Almost everyone feels doubt towards their own creations but I think it just helps to not push those doubts onto the listeners.
I like that. Noise, I think, is also about the choice the artist makes in what to keep and what to throw away. Noise is not pure randomness as people keep saying. I will definitely listen to more from you.
The tags of the album made me get to the conclusion it was mostly about the lyrics. But you definitely succeeded in making the beats evoke something.
The best thing about making noise is the freedom in it, in my case every time I make it is like playing and instrument for the first time, and a lot of the time I actually do sample things like that. I base my style a lot in percussion because of the way I tap, I never do it on beat but I kind of do some vaguely musical things with a train of thought type variation. I use a twenty dollar desktop drumset and sample it for various pieces of songs.
>chill
>trap
>Sounds like an oxymoron but give it a try
The music would be free but I already ran out of 200 credits at the beginning of the month
You do?
Noise is definitely closest to artistic freedom. I make noise when I feel I can't produce any coherent song structure and just the process of making noise gives me so much inspiration and new ideas.
Also, I still got your album lying around to which I will listen to later tonight.
cheers dude, working towards one

Glad you like it!! I predominantly use an analog tone generator, a basic contact mic, and a couple circuit bent toys used pretty sparingly (since theyre played out af)
...
Thanks a bunch yo! I typically like to have my stuff really harsh and for me, if i dont have variety in timbre and tone, it gets boring really quickly.
Also reccing your stuff p hard!!
Good stuff if you're a fan of dark ambient vibes and rhythmic noise. I could never get the vibes like you have going there, very subdued and ominous
I approve of this noise as well. It's definitely not of the boring kind. I'd love to hear more from you.
How much? $4? None?
I will check this out!
Grimrik would say do something low, maybe $2 or $3. I would say do free. Are you trying to make money or get people to download your music? making it free will be the best way to get it downloaded

A soundtrack I made for a film by my friends and I. It's the first thing I made that I'm really proud with.
recs:
I personally wouldn't usually pay for a bc album at all, mainly because I'd need to pay money into my paypal account first, that's just too much hassle. Also, i can just use a bc downloader.
More is being worked on! Very happy you like it, its taken a long while to get to where I think what im making is worthwhile
I want people to listen to my music on Bandcamp, however I would appreciate some money too (which I need right now).
I'm not telling people to buy it because they can rip it from the site or whatever, but I'm suggesting that if they do like the EP they can buy it for $8 (I made it $8 because the fees, funds, etc. with PayPal and shit makes it go down to like $6.50 or something) or if they do like a particular track they can buy the track for like $1.
I never thought I'd end up "selling" my tracks, because I'm just really not that kind of person. Oh well...
