i love gunfighter ballads but that was 1959
All of these albums are pretty damn essential as far as Country music goes. The fact that they were all released within the last few decades shows that the genre isn't a creative wasteland.

September 59 and didn't chart until 1960, so it's close enough.

Disgusting
>implying almost any of that is country
Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs is the 50's, for the record, very little good country came out after 1960, most of its examples (like some Johnny Cash) are from artists who already were doing good country in the 50's or earlier
The rare great country post-1960 is always stuff that isn't really country at all like 16 Horsepower or The Mekons
Your list is garbage and you are garbage, leave it to Americucks not to recognize the best of their own music
dubs aside you're beyond wrong, most likely because you're not American sad to say.
This was released last year and was pretty good
Best mainstream Country album to come out in years
It's only been 5 months but I feel like that could become a classic. Getaway Driver and I've Got Wheels have become new favorites.
Most everything from John Prine. One of the greatest songwriters of all time.
This too
Terry Allen - Lubbock (On Everything)
