4 August 1914. If we didnt get involved in ww1 we could have potentially seized all of europes and ottomans colonies once they had exhausted each other. Oh what could have been.

not really. That defeat lead to the 2nd empire which was by far more successful and also lead to the decline of the french economy. Also it planted a seed for a powerful ally.

most people will get teary even today when talking about it

If that didn't happen the center of power in the Empire would have shifted towards America due to the larger amount of Anglos in America.

He was very good and really did some "impossible" shit on track. Even though he isn't the biggest WDC, he is considered by many the n°1.

This banana republic has always been sad and barren, hopeless and a waste of space.

Justin gets too much credit here, he's just a figurehead and will be an insignificant PM. Old man Trudeau was smart enough to really do some serious damage and a lot of this country's problems started with him. He was a true believer in multiculturalism, and he also centralized too much power in Ottawa. I hope he is burning in hell.

The Liberal party today is politically centrist and more interested in corruption and lining their own pockets than in really doing anything for the country good or bad. They installed Justin Trudeau as their figurehead leader because they thought he could get them back into power. I doubt that they let Justin make any decisions on his own.

every single one.

August 29th, 1910. We lost our country.

1789

Not an exact day but in the 'Rampjaar' of 1672 we were attacked by England and France and a bunch of German states at the same time.

In the end they were all pushed back but the financial cost effectively ended the dutch golden age.
