I'm working on a project and this nut is really stuck. I've tried WD-40, saws, etc. Whenever I try to twist it off the screw on the other side turns with it so I cant take it off. Can someone help?

if you don't care about the bolt, you can just drill it out.

Drilling it out would be the quickest and easiest way

Screwhead on other side?
Put a suitable driver in it, wedge it so it can't turn, then try it again.
If that doesn't work, wedge the spanner on the nut side, use a power driver on the screw side.

Why dont you just hold the nut on the other side with a wrench and twist the top one out of the bottom nut.

Liquid wrench will do you better than wd-40, brace the opposite end with another socket to actually get the torque on your end.
