batflecki, no contest

HAHAHAHAHAaaaaa
oh man, oh man, i bet you're serious.
Bale was pretty much made for the role.

Bin Muhammad Al-Affleq

Bale

I think we should hold off until we see the Batman film that is directed by Affleck.

Also, Batfleck better be the same Batman that choked the Joker to death or I don't even.

Bale

Also his costume is better, Batfleck looks like he's made of paper

Batman fight scenes were better with Affleck. Bruce Wayne scenes were better with Bale.

Bale was the better wayne. affleck was the better batman.

Bale, easily.

But he was in two good films and one stellar film, while Batfleck has been in a notoriously shit one so it is kind of unfair. I think Batfleck, while having a cool look, is not really a good Batman and is pretty much dead on arrival. The Nolanverse was an awesome, unique take on Batman while Batfleck just seemed like a 12 year olds version of TDKR.

Old Wayne was played better by Affleck than Bale.

We won't see Affleck play Young Wayne.

I think both of them did a good job, but Batfleck was more enjoyable to watch. Bale fits the role of Bruce Wayne more, but the Batman scenes were mostly lacking, especially the shitty fight scenes

Isn't Joker alive in Suicide Squad?

Batfleck would have no problem with a manlet like Bane

Apparently all of his scenes are flashbacks.
Of course that could just be Marvelcucks spreading lies.

The final fight in TDK was really good, a lot better than the one in batman v superman

I agree with the opposite

Batfleck is substantially better, it's not even close.

Bale looks like a manlet compared to Batfleck. And the fighting choreography and gadget use are substantially better in BvS.

I think so. I hope not.

I had heard he was only in flashback. But now I don't know. That would take discipline.

Harley Quinn doesn't need the Joker in her stories any more. We know the deal with her. I'd be fine with her CALLING HERSELF the Joker in a future film, even.

Leto will have to knock it out the park for me to appreciate them jamming up Batffleck and Harley for the sake of having him in the current continuity.

bale was a terrible batman.

The only scene where he was good as batman is when he was beating up the joker in the interrogation room, and that was only because he was specifically supposed to be weak in that scene.

Pretty much this, Bale is too intimidating in his Batman role.

I have a hard time believing he goes out at night and beats the shit out of criminals and fights injustice. The fake as fuck fight scenes didn't help, either.

I have no problem believing Batfleck goes out and kicks the shit out of criminals, dudes just savage as Batman. Huge as well, like Batman should be. He's a big guy.

I don't think we saw enough of Batfleck as Bruce Wayne though, but in his few appearances I enjoyed it.

Which final fights?

>Pretty much this, Bale is too intimidating in his Batman role.

Fuck I meant not intimidating enough**

Hands down the best Batman fight scene ever.

agreed user

...

>we're getting a feature length movie with this batman directed by based affleck
I'm excited

i loved this one as well, totally surreal

All these people saying Bale don't know real Batman.

holy fuck why is this at 60 frames
fucking terrible

I don't think it's a fair comparison. Bale was a great "realistic" Batman who dropped the ball a bit with the intimidating Bat-voice. Affect is full-on comic book-scale Batman, complete with voice modulator for added spook factor.

I honestly think Bale could have been even better if Nolan's scripts explored the theatricality angle of the Batman persona more in depth. The only scene in the Nolan trilogy that remotely compares to Affleck's intro was Bale's warehouse scene in "Begins."

Bale was goofy Adam West-tier Batman that got overshadowed in his best movie.

The only correct opinion.

>I honestly think Bale could have been even better if Nolan's scripts explored the theatricality angle of the Batman persona more in depth. The only scene in the Nolan trilogy that remotely compares to Affleck's intro was Bale's warehouse scene in "Begins."
Totally agree user.

SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE TRAILER. That whole sequence.

And then not in the actual movie, where, let's be real, it ruined the flow.

Bale.

Just because Affleck made Argo doesn't mean he stopped being a fucking joke. You kids are fucking dumb.

>that part when he fights 4 guys at the same time

Batfleck was much better.

Bale after being dubbed by Kevin Conroy

Affleck.

Bale was alright but he was like a commercialized attempt at making Batman, just didn't seem right.

>but he was like a commercialized attempt at making Batman
You just went full retard.

Are you autistic?

Different bats in different stories. I likem both desu no need to rank them, but loved that cunt-ish Bale's Bruce

>it ruined the flow.

I wasn't aware that movie had a flow. You could probably cut that movie in half and it wouldn't hurt the main story. Whatever that story was, I watched it a week ago and already forgot what it was about.

I use every opportunity I can to hate on BvS, but Batfleck was fucking great.

I also admit to being one of the faggots who cried rape when he was cast as Batman in the first place.

All attempts at making batman are commercialized, idiot.

wew lad

Batfleck

Well meme'd friend. Glad to know you don't care about losing.

Batfleck

>he's a big guy

FOR

>Affleck
Perfect embodiment of the role. Nobody could have done it better.
>Bale
"Oh, we're making a new batman movie? Better throw in a flavor of the month meme actor to sell it."

I was joking about the autism but now I'm not so sure.

I'm done with you now, kid. You'll need to go beg someone else for attention.

Everything about Affleck's version was undeniably better.

It got into a flow from time to time.

I'm thinking more that this one sequence works perfectly by itself, and can be removed from the film without weakening it.

But because parts of it were in the trailer, some of us were hyped for a different kind of film entirely, it was teasing a different ending sequence. Once that scene appeared in the film, I knew we were getting a surprise ending, and I wasn't hopeful.

If it were the trailer, or if it were a trailer, it would have hyped DC fans through the stratosphere, and it would have had the same 'wtf?' effect that the Zod trailers did from MoS.

Bale was a shit batman, his movies did good only because of the villains. Batfleck was the only good thing about BvS.

that second guy he takes down out of the truck should be shot for being so bad, full leg swing before batfleck even swings the gun

2bh after BvS you'd need to be an autistic little baby to still get any enjoyment out of Nolan's Batshit at all.

Snyder changed the game. What was passable in 2008 just doesn't hold up now we've seen far more sophisticated work in the medium.

Dead on arrival? You retarded? He was easily the best on-screen representation of Batman. The consensus is universal Kill yourself

this desu, Nolan's films were already kind of simplistic but now they just feel far too shallow.

they came at the right time I'd say.

>The Nolanverse was an awesome, unique take on Batman
The obese down's syndrome autistic convulses naked on the floor. Cheeto dust spraying out of his mouth as he shrieks incoherently.

that was some nice prose

...

>he actually believes this

...

that's a pretty apt summary though

how's creative writing going?

just keep at it champ, you'll get there one day.

It's true. Just look at Affleck's steely gaze in the BvS intro as Bruce looks into the sky with fury and determination in the aftermath of superman's. Now compare that to Bale's retarded face at the end of TDKR as he smiles directly into the camera like he's with his family getting his photo taken. Phoning it in completely.

The former exudes "kino" the latter is just reddit. Bale hasn't given a good performance since American Psycho and even that was just shallow gimmick laden meme acting.

>get BTFO
>try and come out the other end dignity intact
lol

I think everyone would agree with you if their egos weren't inflated.

not even that good.

i hate that long takes are now being memed on after true detective did it so well

Batfleck if you like comic Batman

Baleman if you like him in a more realistic setting.

long takes have been popular since children of men you dumb cuck

Please. It was meme tier as fuck even when True Detective did it. It's fucking embarrassing at this point.

There is no cinematic technique more *tips mubie buff fedora* than the long take. TD was imdb meme fodder through and through.

Batman-Affleck
Bruce-Bale

Overall Bale

Hello child of IMDB.

>p

>a
>r

>tfw I had faith in Batfleck before it was cool

Fuck yes.

Except everyone here pretty much agreed it was the only promising part of the movie since the reveal.

Children Of Men isn't significant at all. Maybe it was the first extended memetake that got your fedora tipping but that's it.

you're fucking retarded m8

Who was better?

You're retarded. Children of Men didn't popularize jack shit. The entry level adolescent film buff genre has been doing that shit for decades. By attributing the influence to children of men you reveal your ignorance about the medium. It was already a core tenant of fedora-eurphoric film making.

Bale was a good young Bruce in BB and TDK.

He was not a good old Bruce in TDKR, Affleck was in BVS.

We'll never see Affleck's young Bruce.

you have no idea what you're talking about lmao

Every aspect of the Batman universe was done better in BvS.
>muh meme actor doing his meme performance

left,

my cocaine was just himself

>TANGERINES

Mike Cocain of course

Irons
No fucking doubt

You bare no scars for this medium. You were born of the video game. That is where you will live and die. You will never be fit to discuss cinema.

you talk a big game but your favourite movie is boogie nights you fucking acne-riddled sperm

Bataffleck is like Punisher with a cape and super soldier serum

I agree with you on that, but Nolan and Synder had two completely different Batman characters in mind.

Bales script definitely had more themes, each movie essentially told a different story, TDK being chaos and corruption, TDKR about pain and overcoming it, etc.

Bales wanted to tell a story moreso than action, Affleck is more about how dark he's become and they want to show all the brutal shit he can do.

Both are good.

Hype as fuck for Afflecks standalone though. Interested to see him interact with the other super heroes in Justice League too.

Bale's Batman was also very different to the average one, Nolan went for too much realism so while it works well as a unique adaptation it also falls short for my expectations of the character.

Boogie Nights is more asberger level neo-cinephile bait. Get fucked. The world would be a better place if literally every person who thought that film was in any way impressive recieved a bullet to the head.
Alfonso Cuaron exists in the exact same lineage of

Both were pretty good actually, not sure about canon but both felt off age wise, Irons being younger and Caine older than the character should be

Jeremy Irons.
