Today has been long enough for me: woke up at 6:00 am (usually wake up at about noon or 1:00pm) went with a friend to a nearby town to shop, had to wait until 10:00 am for at least one place to open. Went with him to pick up his pet from the vet.. Helped unload his vehicle.
I didn't even make it far enough through my sleep cycles to have any benefits whatsoever from rem sleep. Since I've been awake for hours my body doesn't want to let me rest until I've been awake for the duration of "an average day".

You could shrug it off; perhaps the workplace environment is more casual than you're used to and you could be reading too much into it. However, if you insist on opening up an investigation, report the incident to HR right away.
I would think it as being highly unprofessional. Words would be one thing, but action? Your silence on the issue could invite more violations.
