Spark notes summary my friend? I appreciate your prompt reply

OP here once more

Wikipedia provides a stellar surmising en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acabou_Chorare

I feel like I'm alone in thinking this but whatever

One of the greatest German achievements in lyricism this side of the millennium.

This looks very interesting but no descriptions are coming up in English. Requesting sparks notes for this too. When you say lyricism do you mean like hip hop tier or like Joanna newsom tier or what like what lyricism are we talking bout

Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares
(bulgarian choral music)
youtube.com/watch?v=PCuZCVMAgI8

Syzygys (female jp microtonal violin/organ duo)
youtube.com/watch?v=cA9AXvD09CM (instrumental)
here's the complete studio recordings (they do sing)
youtube.com/watch?v=Pq51rzmD2m8

Pizzicato Five - This years girl
loungey/jazzy jp pop w/ female vocalist
youtube.com/watch?v=eBmc_xnYxEE

(here's the eng version of that same song)
youtube.com/watch?v=bFV1JNgJA7s

...

GOAT coming through
Buena Vista Social Club

youtube.com/watch?v=KODWcrncnUU

You're doing the lord's work boys

Arrington de Dionyso('s) Malaikat dan Singa
american band that sing in indonesian / throat sing, a mix of free jazz and noise rock. criminally underrated
youtube.com/watch?v=qKVm-BpWP6Q

youtube.com/watch?v=buegZlsirEM

Buena Vista Social Club is correct as well

Hijokaiden - Noisey Killer
(非常階段 - ノイジー・キラー)
Jp noise with vocaloid vocals. also one of the best album cover homages
I dunno if it's on the internet anywhere, but imagine a noise version of this song with hatsune miku doing the vocals. (that's on the album)
youtube.com/watch?v=2Y-Z9oDeH34

Omar Souleyman - Wenu Wenu
syrian wedding/ pop singer madea sick as fuck electronic album produced by four tet
youtube.com/watch?v=hqg702HcnBs

Learn German and you'll know. Far beyond hiphop. Mostly storytelling of small processes painting a greater scenario pertaining to a theme in complicated endless sentences using old and uncommon words that sound nice together and complicated, confusing grammatical structures. Rather psychedelic if you understand the language. Probably just as psychedelic if you don't.

>essential non-English speaking albums
That's a very wide and ignorant category my friend

Camellia ft nanahira - replay
denpa, "Denpa song (電波ソング?) is a type of Japanese music that is intentionally strange and catchy.[1] Common features of denpa songs include intentionally off-key vocals, nonsensical lyrics and an over-the-top tune"
youtube.com/watch?v=oX_baFXsS5Q
this is the most catchy denpa album I know of

サイケアウツ – Black List -Ultimate Classics
Japanese Jungle/DnB, quite different from a lot of older UK jungle, some video game samples
youtube.com/watch?v=orYApvQ4UuA

this user is correct, also 'Essential - X' is bullshit anyway

this is a better sample but I couldn't find the album cover version on youtube, it's the same song. It's a jungle mashup of the lone ranger theme, it also has some pacman SFX
youtube.com/watch?v=YS8TgBD0Now

Midori - Hello everyone. Nice to meet you. We are Midori
This is an album quite a lot of mu would say is an essential i guess, infact it has a page on the Sup Forums wiki apparently -
"This album collides classic jazz and rock instruments together with a traditional punk ethos and style, that brings this album closer to the realm of Noise or Noise Rock, with singing from the female vocalist consisting of a very feminine, almost child-like voice, interspersed with wild screaming and shouting, over a cacophonous medley of instruments in the background. "
>tip's fedora

Chinese Football - Chinese Football
emo
youtube.com/watch?v=tsR8QDP46xg

Recommend me some good non-english hip hop, my niggas

Rhymester - Egotopia

youtu.be/YxM4rHcrMgA?t=42m33s

youtube.com/watch?v=pxsx4027djE

aight, Дмитpий Дым - Many Stylez
chavvy as fuck russian hip hop, the guys flow is really nice though
youtube.com/watch?v=vBUU_aLEYvE

This actually sounds very relevant to my interests.

my fucking nigga, you beat me to it

Oh come on man

I'm just asking what are everyone's absolute favourites, or first thing they would think of, or most well known critically acclaimed non-speaking English album

It's supposed to be vague

Plastic people of the universe - Egon Bondy's Happy Hearts Club Banned
Basically czech zappa inspired rock/psych
"The Plastic People of the Universe (PPU) is a Czech rock band from Prague. It was the foremost representative of Prague's underground culture (1968–1989), which had gone against the grain of Czechoslovakia's Communist regime. Due to their non-conformism, members of the band often suffered serious repercussions such as arrests"
youtu.be/B91gRhq7fyA?t=40m59s

I wish it was easier to go through my albums and see which have non-English lyrics, the problem for me with a lot of my favorite music being from non-English countries is it's still often sung in English or more often, it's instrumental or the lyrics aren't the focus of the music

Off the top of my head though, I'd say:

Selda, Auktyon, Fairuz, Huun-Huur-Tu, Buenos Muchachos, Hukwe Zawose, Kazuki Tomokawa, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan

...

Los Tres - Fome - 1997
(essential chileancore/latinrockcore)

youtube.com/watch?v=42bS1wZ7Oc0

youtube.com/watch?v=g9Krvl7AEAs

youtube.com/watch?v=MG6aJNUffVA
"I was awake, I overheard your speech, my ego dried and sank.
Talked with your ex and we agreed thoughts of your sister helped us wank.
I'm sure you know that I have fancied her since she began high school."

there's too many to say user, you're literally talking about the musical output of billions of people

that said I'll contribute something that deserves to be a lot more well known on Sup Forums

youtube.com/watch?v=AcZVRiB9AQk

This, pretty much one of the best rock albums in Spanish

Tricot - T H E
jap all girl math rock band, strangley for a japanese all girl band they don't have a gimmick

youtube.com/watch?v=d6rxGmvQPLU

it's used at the start of the Adam Curtis documentary 3 parter "all watched over by loving machines" More likely, futurama the ep with lila's parents

>strangley for a japanese all girl band they don't have a gimmick
their gimmick is math rock user
it's a good gimmick though

this for sure, some other Spinetta stuff like Invisible's S/T too

*by machines of loving grace

Invisible is so fucking good, but Artaud is pretty much the most well known, so I posted that instead, good taste tho

these

no idea how this one hasnt been posted

cornelius is japanese but i can't recall if he has done anything in japanese (he must have), but he get's a mention for doing a boredoms esque semi improv version of 'count five six' on a childrens tv program. Yo gabba gabba was patrician as fuck

youtu.be/hjyg7rlrFEs?t=5m50s

Meme (めめ) - Chitotetochi
depressing japanese alt/outsider folk, singer songwriter stuff
youtu.be/v79_ehE6NQY?t=1m58s

yall can talk shit about how non-english=billions, but OP posted a real dope album.

That drum beat in the beginning is sampled on thousands of songs

Various – Extreme Music From Africa
harsh noise, power electronics, ruse-core

>reading article about metal in Africa
>find this 10/10 image

it's what made me check out the album, the cover is better than the album desu, ruse core in multiple senses
