b-bump
Are you looking for more traditional "straightforward" jazz or do you want modern stuff?
Do you want really intense jazz? Heady stuff? Like if jazz were drugs do you want coffee, LSD, or heroin?
Jazz musician/historian/general music autist here so I will be your guide.
I listen to a lot of electro-swin - it's like swing/jazz music, but mixed with electronica type stuff. Sounds a bit weird, but don't write it off until you hear it. Electro-swing and swing in general is the shit.

Doesn't matter if it's in Swedish, it's all about the music anyway

Dunno the difference between LSD and heroin, but im guessing LSD is the most intense. So yea LSD i guess
I'm guessing you're just breaking into jazz so let's start you with something good but also easy. Download John Coltrane's Blue Trane. It's a perfect album, legendary, and will definitely serve as a great introduction.
guessing 'miles ahead' is in reference to miles davis
got some torrenting now
If you're looking for the genre of jazz you heard in Whiplash, then you're looking for Big Band Jazz.
If you're just looking for some good jazz in general, I'd recommend some classics and a few of my personal favorites. I can add more to this list, but I won't bother if it's not the kind of jazz you're looking for.
>Dave Brubeck
Take Five
>Miles Davis
Kind of Blue Album
>John Coltrane
Blue Train Album
This is a perfect list to start you off, bud.
You may be too green for a massive dose of LSD style jazz, but here's some MDMA-strength stuff:
>Big Band Jazz
That's the stuff
>pic related
yeah miles davis - interesting movie - not great but worth a watch...
Bill Charlap - Distant Star.
