Whites already had hip-hop like music for centuries. whites took part in creation of rock, whites created metal, blacks didn't perfect electronic. all blacks were influenced by white folk music.

Really Jazz is extremely multicultural, and is probably one of the few genres where all races innovated equally in styles that are drastically different compare miles Davis to Kenny g. Each drastically different innovating in their own way.
