Milking Of The Caribbean

What do you think?

AMBER PLZ NO

They should just reboot it at this point. That's what studios do now, right?

agist scum

If they are ditching Jack then its a certainty.

Please no I don't want a reboot of Pirates with young actors.

Female Jack Sparrow when?

Did anyone actually like these films except the first one?

No jack no care

The fourth movie had one.

Literally the only reason anyone watched this shit was because of keith richards 2.0

The 2nd was the best one

Captain Black Sparrow incoming

There are more stolen ships in his dock than pebbles on a beach

Is this the final nail in the coffin for Johnny Depp?

Her feet scene was the only good thing in the 3rd movie

I take that is an old pic of him. He has got way into shape for his Episode 7 and 8 role.

>He arises out of a coffin in the 2nd film
POETRY

That's basically what this is. A passing of the torch soft reboot if they do it right

>Getting rid of the franchises only selling point

Smart

Dude, Davy Jones; based Scotsman of the sea. Are you for real, nigger?

It's the right choice, just tell us new stories in the same universe.

This is sad because the 3 movies aren't terrible

First is great second pretty good, third is okay

this desu
Jack is 2/3 of the franchise.

I liked the 4th one.

wtf this

Disney should just buy the One Piece franchise.

>to rope in young generation of pirates

I smell a teenage female protagonist.

god dammit, please no. i'm not sexist but god dammit we can't have nice things with female leads in this day and age.

The Jack and Elizabeth sexual tension in the second movie made no sense. Keira Knightly made the writers add it in because she wanted to kiss Johnny Depp.

Elizabeth and Will being there in any movie but the first makes no sense and I was so glad they got rid of them for the fourth movie... But we "need" a strong female character so they threw Cruz in and it sucked.
I loved all the scenes with Depp and Rush in the fourth one though. More like that and I'm in, I don't need sexy pirates, I want entertainment.

is it worth watching

>question mark at the end of article title

Move along, people. Nohing here but clickbait.

JUST

It's not terrible. In fact, I think I like it more than the 3rd one.

If you liked the first three you will like this one.

If they rid jack sparrow then consider this succesfull as ghostbusters remake.

i doubt, considering last movie did billion

>Toei should just ruin their best franchise

No Jack, no buys

It's definitely the worst in the franchise. It made the good move of scrapping Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly's characters, but made the bad move of replacing them with even worse actors and even less interesting characters.

The movie is carried on the backs of the three main characters - Jack, Barbossa and Blackbeard, and they only barely manage to salvage it.

Shit O'hoy!

What you mean like in the first three movies. Especially the first.

>The movie is carried on the backs of the three main characters

What about the dirt dull bimbo?

it would make sense, a black pirate. it's not like James Bond or anything. In fact, Dindus might go batshit because it represents them as criminals or whatever.

>replace Sparrow

Fuck cant anyone come up with any original content anymore? FUCK

I don't know if this is a retarded question, but I'm asking quite honestly
How come these things keep happening? It seems like Hollywood is ignoring common sense in so many films they're producing these days
>reboots receive backlash
>let's also feminise the newest one
>more backlash

>take the breakout character of the original series we created
>the only character that's received praise and starred in every film so far
>the character who was so well received that they rewrote the original film to make him a deuteragonist instead of a background character with a handful of scenes
>the character that is became a pop culture icon
>who is quoted to this day
>and fucking scrap him

Can someone explain this insanity? This isn't like those Spider Man leaks where Sony went nuts on the focus testing, this is like the total opposite.

Have you not see the emails from the Sony leak? These are people who are severely out of touch and think that just because they're high ranking execs of a major corp means they must also be experts on the creative aspects of the film industry.

probably wanted too much money.

they'd film empty cardboard boxes with the movies label if they thought id make enough profit.
