first for telecaster best guitar

Post boards/rigs

Should I get a jhs muffuletta? I love the demos I've listened to but I'm worried that its going to sound the same as my current muff

second for telecaster worst guitar

haha, just look how colossally wrong you are

>says telecaster is good

Looking to replace the muff with an OD, thinking Fulltone OCD or Boss Bass OD

Don't get JHS. Most of their pedals are overpriced and don't sound too good. If you want a cool muff look at fuzzrocious stuff.

>lil wayne
>holding a guitar
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

the monkey thinks its a musician

Swollen Pickle, not muff

Its funny because you're stupid.

it's ok, it's only a Gibson so he'll probably break the headstock off it in no time at all

I like how simple these are. Mine's gotten a bit unwieldy as of late.

Also remember kids, always double check dimensions before you buy your board!

>buy board
>not make
WEW

I just needed it to be light and durable. I could make a board. It would just be heavier and bulky.

That said, I'll probably replace this one sometime.

what you sand your saddles of the top strings with

Almost done building my latest abortion. Need to clear coat the neck and drill new holes for the neck pocket then it's finished. The neck pickup is like 40 years old and not even wired to anything, just needed something to fill the space.

gibson pls endorse lil wayne
that guitar looks so fuckin cool
i want a lil wayne signature this week still

sand

Please rate by planned meme purchases. Also might get a BYOC Lazy Sprocket/Slow Gear Clone.

desu the only reason I don't buy a pt is they're to deep, I want it long and thin.

>tfw 40 years old is not a pickup from the seventies anymore

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning–Kruger_effect

>vintage gear
>up to and including 1985
Fuck.

>tfw kirk hammett died 50 years ago

>DOD

those truly redefine the phras "shit tier"

b-but it's not out yet

I meant the company

This but unironically.

Hopefully it's hard to fuck up a volume pedal. I just want this Ernie Ball monster of my board, it's fucking huge.

meh, I'll wait for the Kanye West model

>you know remember the Gibson Dark Fire
How does one company fuck up so constantly?

looks good to me

What wah do you guys use. I currently have Morley Tremonti wah, but I don't like it's limited range and the tone it boosts the lows and mids more than the highs making it kinda boring. Also I hate that you can't park the morley style buttonless pedals What's the best for big sweeping wah sounds?

What's wrong with it?

That thing is so Metal-Core

Ugh..

t. Lil Wayne

RMC10, wouldn't say it's a big sweep, dank as fuck though.

red n black or yellow n black?

why you fucking care
i just use my multifx's vox wah and it doesnt even have a "range" knob

VOMIT

t. metalhead holding a black guitar

>playing a guitar that isn't black

oh yeah, that big fucking ugly side to side Vibrola, that's what every guitar needs

>to completely ruin it

neighbor said he wont come at my door telling to turn it down anymore, he will just call the cops

Are you the idiot with the twin reverb in a studio apartment?

no im the idiot with a 10w el34 with master turned to 13h

youtube.com/watch?v=1t2pUX2kjcI

Time to buy a Twin Reverb.

why and for what

Because your neighbour needs to learn what loud is.

>guitar companies stick to the classic stuff
>"ugh why don't guitar companies ever try anything new and original"

>guitar companies try anything new and original
>"ugh why don't guitar companies just stick to the classic stuff"

>guitar companies too stupid to keep what's good and get rid of what's shit
>keep the shit add more shit

its because guitarists are really dumb

>no Rocksmith in the OP

Should be near the top too

>get twin reverb
>have output stage modified to take EL34's

this redefines the meaning of loud

>why do Fender still make Stratocasters?

lmao this made me chuckle
>pic relatable

you planning in getting all of them?

look into catalinbread's other echo the montavillian echo

Yeah probably, I had a Mel9 when they first came out and miss it, also have a ditto that's busted, the 4 looks pretty good.

Bump

>tfw no blacktop with lestrem and easy access neck joint

but that's a Bigsby, not a Lestrem

Don't be simple.

the easy access neck joint can be made by yourself, you know

don't start tempting fate now

Can't wait until it snaps on him.

you can choose any lespaul you want. no need to restrict your range of guitars to chose from because of that. you just sand it. takes a couple of days and you got a axcess les paul.

How much is this worth? It's a Dillion LP Jr, with a rebranded headstock

One hundred and thirty five buckaroos.

bout 90

>rebranded headstock

how embarrassing

think i'll rebrand my condor for a epiphone special or a shittier brand

it was fairly worthless without the embarrassment of the Gibson logo which only serves to highlight what a piece of cheap Chinese plywood it is

>condor
>shittier brand

there isn't one

So no-go? I was gunna trade an Epiphone Flying V

tell me whats bad about them. some say theyre epi-standard-tier

you need to stop listening to what Samuel tells you

do you like being in tune?

Got an MXL 990 USB mic for $50 for recording some acoustic guitar. Good deal?

Is this /gg/core?

He sucks at guitar but he seems like a pretty chill guy.

>tfw all the up and coming porn stars were babies when you started watching porn

Dunno but as a bass player I respect Mike Watt. Don't like punk but Minute Men are sick.

its good, go for it
cheap brands ftw

fuck off samuel you worthless macaco

MXL mics are ok, plus the USB part saves you buying a pricey audio interface with phantom power for the condenser mic, $50 is an ok price for a decent mic

mic the end of the fretboard, not the soundhole, just sayin

ayyy

ayyyyyyyyyyy

It's funny hearing mike watt talk about how clueless he was a first. But for some reason, all punk bass players seem to get into theory in a big way. I guess it's just thanks to how much freedom you have in a punk song.

Songsterr is a good app.

>tfw sucked enough dicks to afford your first Condor

I can't enjoy music if i'm not playing guitar regularly. Not only that, if i'm not playing specifically my les paul.

Is this healthy?

Then you dont actually like music, you like your guitar and whatever else you like about it.

Anyone know how to fix a ringing guitar string? My open e string sounds like a sitar. It sounds normal when I fret it though.

your nut slot is probably too wide for the string and it's ringing out above the nut

its called buzz
the cause is one or some of these:
>lower frets are not leveled and causing string to buzz at them
>nut is too low
>nut is not well filed (buzzing in this case can be fixed with a string tree to increase pressure)

there's a certain type of buzz that makes it sound like a sitar and its almost always the nut

try this, take your thumb nail and put it on top of the string thats buzzing right at the edge of the nut slot. if the buzzing goes away then the slot isn't cut right

y'all i just scooped an Ampeg SVT Classic for $300

talk about a fucking bargain

all these 3 greentextd causes of buzz can make that sitar sound. its most likely buzzing at the first frets (this can be achieved with good, leveled frets by a too low nut slot)

As a quick and dirty fix, put a thin piece of folded paper under one side of the nut. If that solves the problem then you really should get a new nut made.

That's a fantastic price for one of the best bass amps ever made

I know...

I nearly shit when the dude told me how much he wanted for it.

Then I absolutely shit when I tested it out and it was working perfectly
