Ours was treated like a major exam. There were two, where you basically had to maintain a conversation with the professor for a few minutes on random questions about whatever. The worst part was that she had a Galician accent that made some stuff hard to understand. Looking back on it, it was good practice since I had to do the same shit over the phone to get language pay at work.

Yeah, 60-70 would actually be close to perfect. I sweat the same, doesn't take much. The advantage to that is I know if I stop sweating, it's time to call it quits before heat/sunstroke. There's nothing fun about getting it from overworking outdoors. I imagine the humidity is pretty nasty at times over there too.
It was tough, but even if you did a halfass effort and still turned in your other work/participated in class, you'd still be in good shape. That particular course was for intermediate Spanish, I called it a day there and didn't go with the advanced stuff. I'm sure that would have gone well, talking at Telemundo speed.
