Is czech the purest slavic language?

>Is czech the purest slavic language?
I think that'd be slovakian, czech has more of germanic influence

Isnt slovakian just a czech dialect?

>Isnt slovakian just a czech dialect?
That's a meme, over here a very popular one.
In fact both our languages were re-created from the ground up in the 19th century by our patriotic linguists and writers after they were nearly forgotten and dropped out of use due to heavy germanisation/hungarisation. Most of our grammar and vocabulary was officially written in that time (way later than for the most other european languages).
Slovaks were more oppressed by the hungarians than we were by the austrians, so they hated them more and so when they wrote their language they made it much more pure and slavic as a mean to resist the hungarians.
