still waiting for the damn pickups to arrive but this is going to be a really great build eventually
Cameron Wright
>thinks pedals can outdo peavey's lead channel gain
Isaac Parker
Fucking hate glossy necks
Evan Ramirez
>HSS strat Kys
Carter James
>Those bridge saddles I usually hate strat bridges but those look nice
Xavier Phillips
>Humbuckers in a strat just why?
Kevin Brown
>assuming I'm putting a shitty larpbucker in it
it's getting a Creamery wide range humbucker in the bridge, medium output pickup that sounds really good clean
Christopher Cook
why not? buckers in strats sound better than singles in les pauls anyway
Daniel Howard
Does anyone know if those like 80 dollar diy kit to build guitars are trustworthy? I don't want it to actually play tbqhwyf but building one would be a nice thing to put on a wall honestly
Joseph Rogers
I've got them on a couple of other Strats, they're really stable and the screws don't stick up into your hand when you mute at the bridge
Julian Lee
As long as you know how to set it up nicely you can, actually, polish a turd.
Parker Richardson
What are they called? Can I buy a bridge with those already installed or do I have to buy the saddles separately from Fender?
Nathan Barnes
holy shit I like those perverted asian guitar shapes do you have anything like that
Isaac Brooks
this is the guy I buy all my partscaster supplies from
>got a Gibson scale neck for my strat >asked a tech to set it up >he told me there may be some problems for scale length
tfw my other two guitars all have 24.75inch neck on the Fender body
Hudson Lee
>.uk >85 tea cups Well I tried
Joseph Green
for a cheaper alternative, the Wilkinson bridges are superbly comfortable, maybe better than the Fender one. Plus they're available with the 6-screw mounting.
Noah Harris
You probably don't play above the third fret, or you're tone deaf and don't notice how out of tune the higher frets are.
Jackson Harris
Can you explain to us how you think guitars work and then how half size guitars work?
Do some real critical thinking when you're typing up your post.
Gavin Bennett
>there may be some problems for scale length >may be
he should have told you to fuck off
Logan Butler
>Can you explain to us how you think guitars work and how do they work, indeed? do you even know what a scale is?
Leo Scott
So your answer for how they work is asking me how they work?
Really makes you think.
Kevin Nguyen
it's bed time roman
Kevin Wilson
>Really makes you think. it's good since I really asked you how they work. Now answer.
Lucas Scott
How do I make my guitar look worn out and cool bros?
James Lee
play it
Levi Kelly
I think that's a ds-1 but can you guys id the other pedals will is using here
Thomas Garcia
Play for 20 years you faggot
Noah Davis
PolyTune
Aiden Jones
How can I get rid of the buzz/hiss when my guitar isn't playing? I've been trying to record some stuff with volume swells and e-bow but there's a fairly loud background noise that I can't seem to get rid of. Is a problem with the pickups or amp? Or could it come from a pedal?
Aaron Walker
that's a DS-2
Blake Powell
Boss pedal looks like a DS2 or DF2
Joseph Murphy
There's equal temperament across the fretboard for every regular 6 string electric guitar.
How you think scale length would somehow change this is beyond me.
If you'd like to learn more pick up a physics book.
Colton Gomez
nobody knows, you can plug guitar directly into amp and have some tests on pedal, you can not get rid of that if you are using single coil
Colton Gonzalez
you're a moron, you can't intonate a gibson scale neck neck on a real fender body. the scale is from the bridge to the nut, not the neckpocket to the nut. imbecile. kys
Nathaniel Torres
...
Jayden Davis
you can change the positions of frets, retard.
Charles Diaz
apply sand paper and steel wool to your body and play it. thats how the companies do it
Owen Howard
>you can't intonate a gibson scale neck neck on a real fender body
Never share your uneducated opinions outside of the internet.
Joseph Hughes
>It totally works. You just have to refret your guitar!
Parker Thomas
>ds-1 One of the worst pedals I've ever used.
Logan Allen
Those are conversion necks, the frets are slotted in different places so they will intonate. A regular 24.75 neck won't work on a Fender Scale body.
Zachary Russell
The delay is a Red Panda Particle
Joshua Perez
>wanting a thing he uses to look like shit
Matthew Morales
why the fuck would somebody rip out frets from a gibson scale neck and re glue them? you're going to have ugly lines all over your neck! and why would even want that done?
Brayden Parker
just buy a new neck, you poor faggot
Blake Gray
Those aren't gibson scale necks. those are conversion necks. Fucking educate yourself.
Henry Barnes
>implying Gibson scale conversion necks are not Gibson scale neck
really makes you think
Gabriel Allen
No, the idea is that some retard took a gibson LP neck and tried to fit it onto a fender body, not a guy getting a 24.75 conversion neck for his fender.
Lincoln Jones
did you drive through austrailia ontop of a truck you mongoloid
Adam Kelly
What is a "regular 24.75 neck"? He's buying a gibson scale neck for his strat.
The frets are slotted so there's equal temperament, like I've said earlier.
Can I make it any clearer?
>Fucking educate yourself.
Educate me :^)
Liam Long
i have a bc rich asm 1 from 2013, fairly used, and now i dont know if my peavy amp is blown out or if its my guitar
Anthony Anderson
>he you're assuming he is getting a conversion neck? lmao, hes getting a gibson rip off bolton neck tempered for gibson guitars for that fender. :^)
Christopher Martin
it's not mine
Cooper Turner
Why would the tech say the scale was going to cause issues? if it was a conversion neck, it would be a "Conversion neck" not a gibson scale neck. that entails gibson temperament. :^)
Justin Fisher

Brandon Allen
and neither is this
no idea why people usually choose Mexican Teles for this kind of abuse
Jackson Nguyen
because they're cheap
Chase Hall
I guess. And it's less effort than learning to fucking play the thing.
Jacob Garcia
How well do MIM strats kill humming?
Michael Sanchez
I want to buy a bass for around 1000 bucks. I'm thinking about Warwick Corvette or Fender J-bass. Any others i should consider? Give me some recommendations bros.
Owen Price
yeah, they're also painted with fucking plastic, so the "aging" looks fake as fuck.
Ian Sanchez
what's the ultimate contrarian guitar
Luis Rivera
buy g&l J bass
Samuel Martin
thoughts on epiphone sheratons? how do they compare to their gibson equivalent?
William Fisher
step aside for the DiPinto Galaxie 4
Wyatt Taylor
Do not buy a warwick, they're often neck heavy. try it out first with a strap. The Fender J-bass have always sounded great. punches through the mix both live and in the studio and is very versatile.
James Evans
I just want to make it sure, it is surely a 24.75inch conversion Warmoth neck.
Ian Butler
Measure from the nut to the 12th fret, multiply by 2
James Campbell
anything g&l
Kayden Williams
then it shouldn't be a problam, like I siad. your tech is just uneducated like the rest of the poeple in this thread :^)
Andrew Collins
The best "J-Bass" you could get would be the sandberg california TT. but they're a bit expensive. Go for the Fender or the g&l if you can afford it.
Mason Howard
So satin base with gloss coat? That's the recipe I see most people using, rather than gloss base + gloss clear. It looks like you did a good job.
Carson Anderson
>HSS >not HSP90
Jason Wright
warwicks are certainly not for everyone but i love my german made corvette standard 5 string from '06, though it has a much thinner neck then most ive played. both are great options, i would also reccomend looking at a music man string ray. any of the three will be great work horse basses that will serve you well on any gig or recording session. just weigh think about what you want from it and try them all out (with a strap is a good suggestion).
Juan Bailey
>not buying YJM pickups
You can flip strat saddles to get the same look XD
Luis Rodriguez
Well folks. Here's the finished product.
Refinished westone neck slapped onto a body from the 1980's with a single EMG81 and an unwired neck pickup just to fill the space.
Parker Perry
>EMG
Oliver Russell
shred one dude. make dimebag and Randy dandy rhodes proud. :)
Logan King
Fuckin' nice dude, don't listen to the haters. That's pretty much my dream but I'd probably just drop a hot rails type deal into the bridge.
Oliver Morales
>EMG >unwired pickup
Jack Williams
Only way i can get good distortion out of any amp without having to drop 800 dollars on a tube combo
