This has more depth and emotion than any of his other albums

The only issues I have with this is that Kendrick threw shots at possible rappers and the industry but barely followed up with that. What a fucking disappointment in that regard

Still one of the best hip hop albums of all time

TPAB>GKMC>UU>S80>Damn

DAMN>TPAB>GKMC=S80>UU

How is Damn his best work?

he blows the fuck out of Sup Forums in this and heart which is good enough for me

by clipping a couple fox news segments and spitting a few bars about black isrealites? yeah BTFO for sure

GKMC>DAMN>TPAB>UU>S80

what compels a healthy white man to listen to this anti-white rubbish and then go on /mu'/ and defend it? Are American whites really that far gone?

GKMC is the best, you can really visualize the story he's trying to portray more so than his other albums

NAZI PUNKS FUCK OFF

He doesn't blow the fuck out of anything (not a POL fag btw) he spouts off some we wuz Israelites shit and in heart he proves he knows nothing about the current situation with his Russia comment.

Don't care if it's bait, fuck right off

>Nazi
Boy you are simple minded aren't you

Fuck off antifacunt

TPAB>GKMC>DAMN>UU=S80

none are *bad*, this is just my opinion

TPAB>DAMN.>UU>GKMC

im just genuinely curious about what goes on with american white males. I know all of the cuck porn comes from american, but surely there must be some hope left

Yes this is my favorite part. He just shows how ignant he is.

Negronization of culture, god knows white americans forgot about their european culture.

Add dysgenics and welfare and you get young thug fans.

DAMN being his best work doesn't take away from any of his other albums, as they've all been great projects.

But with DAMN we finally see Kendrick for himself. Even with GKMC a story about his childhood it was always an outside perspective and the perspective of so many other people around him that it was pretty much about everyone but himself in that story. Even when he holds a first person perspective it's not personal at all and is a tool.

But on this one Kendrick takes a backseat from the storytelling, pun intended and puts more emphasis on the his bars and the concept. You might think that this album is aimless but it's actually his most concise album. Sure, GKMC and TPAB, hell even Section 80 had a bigger concept but that was given to us at face value. Kendrick wasn't hiding anything, he wanted y'all to see what he was saying.

However on DAMN. he's MUCH more subtle. It's harder to see how songs and themes connect to each other but they do. If you look at the reversed segments on these albums they fit in a greater theme. The lady that shoots Kendrick in the beginning is lady justice. At the end of the album Kendrick reflects on how things would have been if him and his label's CEO got into a fight and died. The album plays with a different theme if you play it back to front. LUST-->LOVE becomes LOVE-->LUST. PRIDE-->HUMBLE becomes HUMBLE-->PRIDE. Wickedness back to front, Weakness front to back. You can really see this on the best song of the album, FEAR. Playing it front to back, we see Kendrick become more fragile and weaker to the end of the album. But reversed, seeing his father die, FEAR becomes the beginning, but delves into anger and ignorance until justice is done towards him. Even if you think this is a reach it still holds a lot of ground.

Even through all this depth, the songs on this album hold great replayability and value outside of the major concept which is something Kendrick hasn't been able to emulate since Section 80

THIS

GKMC > TPAB > S80 > UU > OD > KLEP > DAMN. > TD > NSTN > C4 > YHNIC

2 of 2:

This album is not religious, it's race-hating or even centred on race at all. It's an existentialist mess and is incredibly philosophical.

And you gotta be an ignorant faggot to not think that religion and race doesn't have a role in any of that

give me a criticism as good as this

you realise the only people doing the "we wuz kangs muh izralites" shit is you insecure whiteboys right?

go talk to a black person for once. or are you too scared?

GKMC>TPAB>S80>UU>DAMN.

theres too many newfags thinking this album is something special compared to his other work.

muh trap beats
muh failed singing
probably had the worst single to promote this too.

The beats on his other projects were actually good.

Good thing I'm not white.

>Captcha: Match the label: WHITEboard

He literally says that whites DNA is an abomination and signals to a black supremacist group known as the black Israelites who feel that whites are a disease

How the FUCK could you defend that?

let it sink in my man, DAMN is something very special and I love his other projects.

I don't have time for that, and why, you haven't responded to my points at all, stop trying to hide behind the in depth user becuase you haven't got an argument

>taking lyrics at face value
M I D D L E S C H O O L

...

>makes an argument
>"im going to ignore that argument, and stop talking because you don't even have one!!!"

R E T A R D

Reminder that if your lyrics "fire shots" at other artists then you are probably not making real art/music.

I gave you a criticism of your idea that he BTFO pol, instead of responding, you said

FUCK OFF

listening to this I wonder where the "kill whitey" meme comes from. seems like Kendrick steal harbors a deal of resent for the black kids in Compton that used to gang bang and whoop his ass. it didn't help that his own Mom (and many black parents in these sort of circumstances) would threaten to beat his ass too for nearly anything, including for being afraid of the thugs outside.

somehow Kendrick managed to preserve and make it out of that situation but now he's facing a new set of fears, afraid that if he makes too many mistakes he'll end up back to shitty living, afraid of being judged by the people, not only because he wants to be seen as the greatest but because now he understands that his public appearance is a reflection of more than just himself but really everything he stands for. not to mention him touching on being tempted by the vices that often come with being rich and famous as well as feeling like he's been given the ridiculous duty of keeping the entire world in his prayers but all the while feel like nobody is even reciprocating and returning the favor. that man has had something to be afraid of his entire life and I think he's sick of living in fear. tons of emotion on this album, he touches on so much really.

Are you retarded?

lol, implying Kendrick implied any deeper meaning than face value.

two weeks ago when I was going to work some black guy started harassing a white guy for some reason, after the white guy left the black guy started to literally We Wuz and call whites cavemen and how black people will rule the earth in the future, so I dunno man. you still haven't answered the question. Why do american white males feel the need to listen to artists that blatantly hate them and call them abominations?

I mean, surely someone so poetic wouldn't need 18 writers on each song and would be able to convey something deeper than BITCH MUH DNA NIGGA

>Being on mu
>Not getting a music reference

Soz hard for not listening to every album ever mate, will improve next time

do you need a safe space snowflake?

Because as Sup Forums would say, they are white cucks who feel the whole white guilt thing or they feel gangsta enough to not feel white.

(true story btw)

>poetry needs always have a massive vocabulary
>poetry cannot be casual
pre-modernist trash

>18 writers on each song
holy fuck do you not know what writer means in music credits? jesus fucking christ

but why, what do they get out of it? usa is so messed up

where?

Sup Forums is incredibly insecure of being white. they think other white people are too so they push this whole cuck narrative. it's pure projection they just wanna feel sorry for themselves that the black man and woman wants equal rights and opportunities.

even if Sup Forums was right (which they're not) about race relations in the united states that insecurity and self-loathing still exists

no really where? i'm not trying to argue, I just don't see it

>I got loyalty, got royalty inside my DNA

>Tell me somethin'

>You mothafuckas can't tell me nothin'

>I'd rather die than to listen to you

>My DNA not for imitation

>Your DNA an abomination

>Somebody tell Geraldo this nigga got some ambition
>I'm not a politician, I'm not 'bout a religion
>I'm a Israelite, don't call me Black no mo'
>That word is only a color, it ain't facts no mo'

because black people have pretty much been able to influence American culture where being black or associating with black people as being "cool"

you look at how they were able to flip the word nigga from a hateful to a positive connotation

now white people feel a sense of pride when a black person calls them a nigga

Blacks may not excel in education but they for sure have an influence over the culture over certain other races

damn, what a pitiful nation. oh well you're on your way to becoming majority non-white, music like that is only going to become more common and prominent. enjoy it, american white "males"

as far as the dna shit goes, I'm pretty sure that's just his raw emotion towards the whole fox news thing because it made him angry that they said hip hop was more damaging to african americans than racism in recent years. i don't think there's anything wrong with being honest and I don't think he hates white people.

as for the black Israelite shit, that's kind of wild. no clue why he would say that.

He's gotten pretty political attacking Trump recently

He's going full SJW and he will drag millions of kids with him

thank god white people diminishing

he only said Trump's name once on the entire album and alluded to him by saying he wasn't looking forward to him being president. he can have his opinion.

This

You can say something negative about a black man without being a nazi you stupid porch monkey

This, DAMN. is infinitely more personal and introspective

>Okay kids let's talk about gun control
>DAAAAAAMN
Just that bit makes it my favourite Kendrick release

True but on the heart part 4 he spouted a load of bollocks

Stop being butthurt over everything. Kendrick criticized black people too in many of his songs ..

You don't know the true meaning of this verse.
Your =/= all white people.

Sit down and be humble.

>anyone that disagrees with me is a
SJW
Lmfao Sup Forums continues to be a hypocritical shit hole. I'm happy that Trump won for a number of reasons (you probably don't believe me but I don't give a shit). I might drop by and spam some Blacked shit to see you guys sperg.

It is a dull and cliched story, that has been said and done so many times though.

Jesus is black
Get mad Sup Forums fag

This, they've never done anything good.

I don't know about black, but he was certainly middle eastern looking. I'm not a POL fag, I just think user is a retard

Fair enough

>I got loyalty, got royalty inside my DNA
he's not talking about black people, he's talking about himself. It's typical rap braggadocio and if you can't see that you're fucking stupid
>Your DNA an abomination
Once again, not talking about white people, talking about his 'enemies' in a very typical rap dick measuring contest way

The problem with Sup Forums is they're all lazy cunts blaming others for being lazy. Bitch if you cared about your people you'd do something to help them, you'd spend your time making things better for white people in need. Instead all they do is try to take away from others

>Homicidal thoughts; Donald Trump's in office
>We lost Barack and promised to never doubt him again
>But is America honest, or do we bask in sin?
>Pass the gin, I mix it with American blood

>Donald Trump is a chump, know how we feel, punk. Tell 'em that God comin'. >And Russia need a replay button, y'all up to somethin'
>Electoral votes look like memorial votes. But America's truth ain't ignorin' the votes.

This is fucking retarded SJW shite and you all know it

Homicidal thoughts with Trump. If a country singer said that about Obama he'd be in jail

you sound like a bitch

>It's murder on my street, your street, back streets
>Wall Street, corporate offices
>Banks, employees, and bosses with
>Homicidal thoughts; Donald Trump's in office

Stop being deliberately obtuse, homicidal thoughts isn't talking about Trump
Also tonnes of white people including people as famous as country singers said they wanted Obama dead and nothing happened

He basically called the president illegitimate and implied he is colluding with a foreign power

All while virtue signaling to a black supremacist group known as the black Israelites on his newest album

When will people wake up and see this blatant racist shit

ARE WE JUST GONNA SIT HERE AND IGNORE THIS?!?!

The amount of shit this album has stirred up just proves the significance of Kendrick as an artist

I think you missed a spot

>criticize a white president
OMG, like that's so racist. Barack was a shit president, and Kendricks support comes from Barack being a Democrat. In early 2000s you could've easily swapped those names with Clinton and Bush.

That's pretty much how I see it

good rankings

One thing I will agree with you is on the whole Russia scandal and voter fraud. That whole thing is complete BS, Trump won for a number of reasons and Russia "hacking" the system was not one of them.

This 100%

I remember Kendrick criticizing Obama at some point. he touched on it on the album iirc saying something about how they shouldn't have doubted him, I guess implying Trump is worse.

Dubs thread?

Check em?

Yea but the black supremacist shilling is cool right?

We all woke up tryin tune to the daily news / Looking for confirmation hoping election wasn't true / All of us worried, all of us buried, and the feeling's deep / None of us married to his proposal, make us feel cheap / Stealed and sad, distraught and mad, tell the neighbor about it / Think they agree, parade the streets with your voice profit / Time passin, things change / Reverting back to our daily programs / Stuck in our ways / Drones

Yeah he fucking hates conservatives because they have the nerve to criticize things like the anti white message blacker the berry

god, how did the youth of the world become such faggy bootlickers?

Sup Forums is and always has been anti-white. GTFO Sup Forums, King Kendrick is here.

>muh DRUMPF

fuck outta here clowns

>Goat tier

>God Tier

>Great tier

>Good tier

>solid pop tier

>artist happens to be black

>someone else takes it and the discussion shifts from actually talking about the music to political bullshit

never change Sup Forums

TOP FIVE

With Damn Kendrick moved closer to overtaking Pac imo

Not Enough Anna Wise/10

TPAB > GKMC > UU >= DAMN. = S80 > OD

Kendrick is so sexy, he kinda reminds me of the black guy who was in 'Holes'. Damn indeed

Love and LOYALTY are still good though. They just kind of come out of left field. I think he deliberately some rnb and pop-rap to show he can still do both better than his competition.

Listen to the songs in alphabetical order

ah, and there it is
People are afraid to criticize Kendrick because if they're not with Kendrick, they're obviously with Sup Forums

TPAB>GKMC=DAMN>UU>S80>OD

This. IMO, comparing GKMC, TPAB and DAMN is kinda pointless since they are all equally great, but TPAB deserves to be mentioned first due to it's ambition and scope.
