What's his best movie, Sup Forums?

Goodfellas or Mean Streets

the one he didn't make

Shutter Island, with The Departed a close second

I'll fucking fight you irl

Watching Mean Streets for the first time now. Is this his earliest worth watching?

Shutter Island was very un-Scorsese to me. I was surprised when I saw it. I enjoyed it a lot, though

The Departed is top 25 for sure.

Boxcar Bertha was alright, not essential but Barbara Hershey is pretty hot in it. Mean Streets was when he first started his signature style.

Taxi Driver and Raging Bull are my favorites. Great character studies.

Casino is good if you like Goodfellas, feels like it's spiritual sequel.

Kings of Comedy and Bringing Out the Dead are his most underrated ones.

His music documentaries are great too if you're into music.

Mean Streets

The King of Comedy and Bringing Out the Dead tb h

Taxi Driver duh

Raging Bull is probably Scorsese at his peak. Taxi Driver is, of course, excellent - but a lot of that can be credited to Paul Schrader's script. Goodfellas is the last component of the holy trifecta.

Mean Streets

This guy knows what's up. I came here to post this.

raging bull then goodfellas then casino.

cab driver.

goodfellas, but after hours is pretty comfy desu

Can't believe there are no contrarians backing this one. Guess I have to do everything myself.

1. Taxi Driver
2. Raging Bull
3. Goodfellas

Overrated: The Departed
Underrated: King of Comedy

De Niro >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Dicaprio

100% patrician taste

You mean this one right? A shame the actual writer didn't really do much since.

I really liked Casino.
