I like Norman but big beat is a very 90s sound, Experience still works today

...

>big beat is a very 90s sound
>breakbeat isn't

kek

>posting their sellout album for fratboys

I'M THE FIRESTARTER

TWISTED FIRESTARTER

>fratboys
>using americanisms when talking about the prodigy

know how i know you have no idea what you're talking about?

FotL was all guitars and edginess for dumb yanks, like brostep.

it's still good and the greatest big beat album of all time m8

dig your own hole is better desu

but to pretend fat of the land isn't packed with bangers is ridic

It's cringe and cheesy and an embarrassment to their first 2 great albums

Keith's hair is ICP-tier retardation.

Yes

>Keith's hair is ICP-tier retardation.
it's a standard 90's ravist hair style

the only thing that separates keith and puts him in the edgey camp is the eyeliner

what the the top 5 essential "big beat" albums?

big beat has always been the sub-genre that best captures the aspects I like about techno, and somehow it remained complete free of corniness

...

is that 4th one a person favorite because I've owned the CD's of the rest for 15+ years but never seen that 4th one in my life.

...

jilted generation should be on there over fatboy slim, let's be real. that album has 3 amazing, era defining singles and then endless filler

If you've watched The Matrix you've heard Propellerheads

these are generally good picks

though I'd add some honorabur mentions as well:
fluke - risotto
crystal method - vegas
lunatic calm - metropol
apollo 440 - gettin high on your own supply (CAN'T STOP THE ROCK YOU CAN'T STOP THE ROCK YOU CAN'T)
fight club ost

Music For The Jilted Generation
Exit Planet Dust
DecksandDrumsandRockandRoll
You've Come A Long Way, Baby
Wreckage

Poison is the prodigies best track too and they're the second best big beat makers so for sure.

try harder

Do Vegas or Exit Planet Dust in place of Surrender and you've got yourself a perfect 5.

You're objectively wrong but OK

You shitting on Surrender?

K L F

All aboard, all aboard

>FotL was all guitars and edginess for dumb yanks
I guess that makes Music For The Jilted Generation guitars and edginess for dumb brits then?

No, it's just not a real big beat album, more of a 'moving on' from the big beat trend. There's only 4 or 5 songs on the album you could really call big beat, the rest is 4/4 or folktronica.

>I guess that makes Music For The Jilted Generation guitars and edginess for dumb brits then?
Yes. Absolutely. It always was.

...

yes henlo
it seems you have forgotten me

Step aside, actual greatest 90s breakbeat (not just big beat) album coming through.

Fuck yes, this game and album. This album definitively answers OP's challenge as well.

nah fuck that game it was too hard, i'll stick to porsche challenge

>Certified tunes

What exactly does this mean?

>he listens to music that hasn't been certified

jesus christ leave this board

fucking lol

real bangers

Proper choons, you pleb.

registered romper stompers

Holy shit, this is the song Jeremy recorded in Peep Show

>no underworld

Underworld is GOAT, but unless you count EE, they've never released an album of straight tunes tunes tunes. Just a hit or two then the great album cuts.

nominating

>essential list doesn't have klf's the white room

That's not big beat or breakbeat, that's house
