English. The wide variety of vocabulary due to words with German, Greek, French, and Latin roots means that every word has 3+ synonyms with various connotations.
This, combined with the fact that Anglophones love figurative language and use metaphors and idioms in almost every sentence, makes English great for creative writing.

I like Portuguese because it's not Spanish and French. They also don't make a big deal out of their language like Brits, Spaniards, or Frenchies.
