>when someone says Schumacher was better than Fangio

>when someone thinks Fangio wasn't a carbabby

...

Ok guys, after last thread, we might as start the inevidable discussion early

Who is the WORST driver in F1 atm

lmao

Didn't he win with 3 different teams?

the Brazilian guy was right after all

AMD AMX

>lewishamilton1986.jpg

Gutierrez

Felipe Nasr
rated him last season but since I thought Ericsson was the worst in 2014 and 2015 and Ericsson is beating Nasr now I have to say Nasr

Why ain't there American drivers?

hence carbabby

>can't win with one team
>move to another

>realize other team's car is better
>move to that team
>win
>people call you a genius

wow, you rated someone? nice!
And you changed your mind based on the memes? even better!
pls post more and also add PU to the discussion when its the least related. thx.

But it was quite the opposite

>go to some team
>win
>get bored and move to a worse theam that has never won a title
>win
>repeat

(((American F1 Team Won't Hire American Drivers Because It Wants To Win)))

kys, my man

...

It's like toothpaste thinks he's cool but it's so pathetic

Nasr or Palmer, hard to decide.

Nasr.
Getting outperformed by the slightly less shit Son of Eric on a Race to Race base is enough of proof

Guiterrez, of course.

Undoubtedly the worst paydriver of the decade already, he should really fuck off at this point.

>mfw someone tries to glorifie the ability of someone they are too young to have witnessed just because muh flag

...

have to side with toothpaste here

They have moonshine racers that are low cost and easier to drive and only turn left

What was his endgame here?

Hard to choose between Nasr and Gutierrez.

Nasr or Gutierrez

Palmer is actually improving

Cucking Kai Ebel

Nasr is fucking terrible, second has to be Gutierrez.

Rather have Maldonado in one of those seats.

...

>Rather have Maldonado in one of those seats.

At least he made races entertaining.

Exactly. Nasr and Gutierrez offer nothing at all, not even entertainment.

When is he getting his own team? Pastor F1 would be amazing entertainment but who would his 2nd driver be?

Daniil showed good form in the first half of the season but Max can win races AND wreck people

Yuji Ide would have to be the reserve driver.

As the Brazilian GP swiftly approaches, I urge all connoisseurs of F1-kino to rewatch the 2012 Brazilian GP. A simply stunning drive by the RELENTLESS Jenson Button MBE, holding off championship hopeful Fernando "no nipple" Alonso and costing the latter his best chance at a Ferrari WDC.

They had Formula 1 in 2012? Like, before Verstappen? I don't get it

can you just fuck off

kikker aguofrosh

>the same yank from /brit/ is also posting here
chicanos out

small world innit

So was the whole Brawn new Bernie thing a ruze?

Gutierrez for sure.

Nasr is getting a lot of shit but he has actually delivered decent results in his career and was actually not bad last year.

Gutierrez is in his third season of F1 and he has finished in the points ONCE in his career.

Nasr hasn't scored points this year but the car is almost impossible to score points with. Gutierrez has had two seasons where his teammate has scored a fuckload of points comparatively

LOOK AT GUTIERREZ'S RECORD AGAINST TEAMMATES

>2013 - Gutierrez 4 points - Hulkenberg FIFTY ONE points
>2014 - both Guti and Sutil 0 points, car was shit though and Sutil isn't exactly a grandmaster
>2016 Gutierrez ZERO - Grosjean 29 points

Nasr is nowhere near as bad as this. When the Sauber was able to score points, he scored way more than Ericsson. The car is shit now and neither have scored points. Its no secret that Ericsson's backers de facto own Sauber now, and it's no secret that Nasr and Ericsson don't really get along. It's almost certain Marcus gets the preferntial treatment when it comes to upgrades, or gets the upgrades first because.. it's his team now, so its not a particularly fair comparison although its just speculation.

tldr Gutierrez is one of the worst of all time, ignoring the full amateur-tier backmarkers

Esteban "but Will Buxton thinks I'm good, my friend" Gutierrez

Dutch F1 Fans are the worst.

Meh, they'll get better once they follow the sport for more than 2 years. If Sup Forums would have been around in the early 90s or the 2000s I'm sure there would have been an insufferable amount of bandwagoners from your country as well

Once Max has a season in a mediocre car they'll either leave or become more humble so its alright

post the rarest image you have in your /f1/ folder

Been watching since '97, but I still shitpost because it always gets me a lot of (You)'s. It will stop when people stop freaking out every time some dutch cunt says something stupid.

In fairness to Buxton, he watched him perform strongly in GP3 and GP2, but Esteban's been shit in an F1 car.

It's in the same style as myself. I have some support for Nasr as he's the first driver I've watched come through the ranks to F1, (saw him in British F3) But even I know his time may be coming to an end. He'll get one more year, tops

i don't rate palmer, but he scored a point in a car worse than the sauber, so he's better than the sauber boys. kept memessen on his toes at times too. hate seeing his dad's face on camera. always looks bored.

tbf magnussen has been off his game since his wreck at spa

Does this poll I did at the start of the year count....
>Taken before Spanish GP

>Nasr is bad

Delet... fucking Sauber butthurt because he's probably going to Force India last year.

They literally don't let Nasr setup his car.

I love it when drivers crash, DGAF and put in a great time the first lap in their new car

This is Webber conspiracy tier. Nasr is just shit.

>nasr going to force india

plz no, """we""" deserve better

He should do a Glock and go to Manor to extend his career.
He could be good benchmark and developer, also he brings enough money to satisfy the teams needs.

Luca Badoer is a far better driver than Gutierrez ever will be, Badoer would have had 26 points under the new scoring system, when driving far crappier cars. Gutierrez drives cars that could easily make the points, yet he only lucked into a 7th place once.

Under the old point scoring rules, Gutierrez would have broken Badoer's record of entering the most races while scoring no points.

Likelihood of Force India seat:

1. Ocon
2. Giovinazzi
3. Nasr
4. Wildcard meme
5. Wehrlein
6. Palmer/Magnussen

It's almost certainly going to Ocon unless Giovinazzi decides to fully align himself with Mercedes or if Vijay really really likes him. Ocon would come with an engine discount and Gio brings no money except meme chicken so its extremely likely to be Ocon unless he somehow chokes the following 2 races colossally.

>Badoer would have had 26 points
This guy doesn't understand the improvement in reliability and why the scoring system was updated

badoer was worse than his teammates except in his rookie year, crappy car isn't relevant.

True. Especially his first Sauber year. He was a rookie yes, but he had a whole season to get up to pace. Hulkenberg drove that car into the points on a regular basis and Hulkenberg is currently being beaten by Perez on points for the second season in a row. Not that he is a bad driver but he isn't some god-tier superstar that can make a backmarker look midfield.

Badoer just became a meme because of Ferrari's absurd decision to put him in the car after not driving for a decade. His performance was even defended by the likes of Hamilton and Kovalainen at the time, basically saying that it's the best you could ever expect from someone who hasn't raced F1 competitively in forever. Fisichella then later went on to prove that it's not easy to jump into the Ferrari and just immediately get a handle on it. Considering Fisi went from almost winning Spa in a fucking Force India to scoring no points in the Ferrari, it is a bit unfair to portray Badoer as a shit driver.

What's the point of tarmac runoff areas if the drivers don't use them? (Lewlew and Amx)

Reminder that Badoer set the fastest S1 time in the Spa 2009 race.

Trying to find some exciting driving by Ocon but can't find any. Halp

What's gonna happen to Sauber if they actually finish last in the WCC this year? Money problems 2.0?

No, because they have Swedish-Swiss investment, so should be okay. And they save money by using 2016-spec Ferrari PUs next year.

also had the highest top speed of the weekend because he missed the breaking point at Camel

>Missed the braking point
Nice to see all that simulator work was worth it

Hey who's your favorite driver? Vettel for me.

Also, I hate being bullied and I'm definitely not smug or anything.

Oh, and fuck Hungary!

Rosberg

Good choice, WDC '16

Same here, /f1/ has been the one place I shitposted the least through the years cus you know, I love f1. but the relentless butthurt because amx that is pooring down on dutchfags makes me stop caring.

I mean, I want to get into good discussions but its impossible, so let the shitposting commence.

at least with dutchfags its mostly quality shitposting.

Fuck off back to your cave, ranger bitch boy.

AMX

Unironically Hamilton (three years ago), Alonso and RELENTLESS

He was already the world champion of my heart.

>mostly quality shitposting.

You are seriously pushing the limits of the word 'quality'.

Don't fucking talk to me like you can boss me around or you'll regret it

You?

I don't think so, cuck ranger. Now sjt down and shut up like the bitch boy you are, or you WILL be tied up.

china and russia were good this year but only because vettel and kyvat

i don't really have an opinion t-b-h. i think most of the tracks are rather boring

>worst
Monaco
>best
Spain

I'll fucking kill you for this

I love driving Bahrain in F1 2016. It's fast as fuck.

>most boring
hungary
>most exciting
malaysia

>>best
>Spain

>Dutchfag
I expected nothing less

Honestly Bahrain is my favourite track.

Just a really satisfying track to drive and has given some good races for the past few years.

And Monaco is where Amx crashed like a pathetic GP3 driver kek

Of course he hates it.

Yea it's amazing.

>night races

Lel we've got these dutchfags all figured out

Heres one

youtube.com/watch?v=fdmEdJCSJj4

Ocon also pulled a fantastic overtake in that same race, cant remember who it was on though

Haven't really followed his career too much in F3 or GP3 tb h

I'm curious about KMags, still seems to be something of an unknown quantity.

tyy based finamalan. Almost caught you writing less than 2 paragraphs but then I scrolled down.

Where all the south african F1 drivers at? We need more Dutch speaking people in the sport. Two in the current driver lineup (3 next year) just isn't going to cut it.
