Does your country officially use the ISO8601 standard?
Does your country officially use the ISO8601 standard?
inb4
>muh π day
YOU HAVE PIE DAY EVERY DAY YOU FAT FUCKS
year-month-day (reverse also ok)
anything else is non-intuitive
>MDY
For which purpose was this even invented?
>USA once again special snowflakes
If you're not green your country is a shithole
Say a couple of dates out loud to yourself
Is yellow also okay?
>If you're not green your country is a shithole
>all green countries are shitholes
The only logical conclusion is: all countries are shitholes.
>tfw every time I try I keep to using DMY
FeelsBad
We say 14th of March 2017.
Micronesia and Macronesia are in the same group...
dates are so fucking retarded here just pick one for fucks sake
the correct way is March 14th, 2017.
I hope you can see where you've made your mistake.
D/M/Y and Y/M/D are the only ones acceptable.
Everything else is just retarded.
because 12
Why did it get our pop wrong? Why do we use all three? In practice I never see anybody using anything but the DMY format, some retards use MDY and no one does it reversed
>D/M/Y and Y/M/D
It's either dd.mm.yyyy or yyyy-mm-dd
14/03/2017
Do murricans really need a day dedicated to pies?
DMY is used by a good chunk of Anglos and pretty much all Frenchies
MDY is used by some Anglos
YMD is used by the government
I always get so triggered when I see canadians use the mm.dd.yyyy notation, which is the most retarded way of using the MDY format. Especially when it's being used by canadians targeting an international audience on social media platforms.
Why do Americans celebrate the 4th of July?
rekt
...
...
14 maart 2017
march "four"-"teen"th
π ≈ 3.41 ?
in italian is "14 marzo 2017" so we use only DMY
>greek character π pronounced pee
>circumference number by german mathematician labeled as pi which is also pronounced "pee"
>pronounce it "pie" and associate it to a day just to justify stuffing your face
AMERICANS
14 de Março de 2017.
I exclusively use dd.mm.yyyy and call out people for being retarded when they use month-first. I also only ever give my height in centimetres and my weight in kilograms, if anyone asks for inches and pounds I tell them to get fucked.
I use only Canadian spelling, making sure to correct any American misspellings of words that I see.
hamburger retard land does it again
Not all heroes wear capes
>Canadian spelling
what's this
>Canada
>population approx. 40 million
>another 5 million somewhere doing what we alone do
The pinnacle of the evolution of the English language.
An autistic mix of mostly British spelling but also some American.
Glorious
kolmas helmikuuta
we add the "of" after the month as a suffix
if we spin it around it becomes
helmikuun kolmas
I prefer:
>color
>center
>globalization
>realize
>analyze
>travelling
>defence
>program/program
>**both gray and grey are okay in my book**
>fulfill
>aluminium
YMD is the best one
>tfw using the murrican spelling execept the retarded """"""spelling"""""" of aluminium
If you are Canadian and don't speak like this gentleman right here you might as well not speak at all.
youtube.com
>not Atlantic Coast accent
youtube.com
I gotta say, it's the most likeable accent ever.
Canada: "Just fuck my shit up"
>not using an arbitrary and incomprehensible mix of spellings, measurement systems, and date formats
Fourth
Of
July
As long as people use the correct ISO "month-day", I don't care about the rest.
>Americans btfo by their own founding
I like the idea and would do so but my cunt doesn't, so it's kind of hard/pointless. I like it because we do (hour:minute:second), so it seems logical and consistent to do (year:month:day). Going from largest to smallest unit of time.
Viidestoista maaliskuuta, 2017
"15th of march, 2017"
What's the big deal?
15th of March, 2017
15, 2, 17
15, 2, 20-17
>Canada (40 million)
Incorrect, Canada has about 35 million people
Also why does it list the second number in the same row as 44 million?
This table is shit.
Because there are apparently 4 million secret Canadians outside of Canada using our date system.
All part of the plan...
Hameshesre le Mertz, Alpaim-ve-shvaesre.
YMD is best.
2017年3月15日
15.03.2017 is the correct way
YMD is good to sort computer files.
DMY is better for the order of relevance of the information.
If you're looking for a date, the most critical part is the day's number, not the month or the year.
In a set year, if you hear the day's number only, you get one chance out of 12 to be right.
If you hear the month only, you get one chance out of 28, 29, 30 or 31 to be right.
If you hear the year only, you get one chance out of 365 or 366 to be right.
>weight
>kilograms
That's a unit of mass. At least pounds are actually a unit of force
15 hari bulan Mac tahun 2017
Ah, here we go, Americans start splitting hairs to deflect from the real argument
>2
Nth of Nth + year
bump
Just stop.

Quinze Mars Deux-Mille Dix-Sept
It flows really well.
RECOGNIZE METRIC SYSTEM.
why doesn't France use the iso8601 format? just do it like we did twenty years ago and make it an additional official format in your country. it's being used by any official EU stuff since the early 90s. come on now...
Du tūkstančiai septynioliktųjų kovo penkiolikta
literally "of 2017 of March 15th"
YYYYMMDD format is the most natural to me
you're used to reading from right to left
March 15th, 2017.
15th of March, 2017.
3/15/2017
15/3/2017
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
DDMMYYYY is most natural to me but YYYYMMDD is most logical to me.
>from right to left
That's a Japanese flag, not a Saudi flag. Japanese is read from either left to right or top to bottom. You're thinking of Arabic.
why would he?
all green countries say 2017 march 15 or something similar, but in that order in spoken language too
Why would you begin with the day, it's just stupid
We just don't give a fuck
>Say a couple of dates out loud to yourself
4th of July.
I never know which one to use.
