So what was the point of this documentary? I'm not even joking. Its not like the girls were raped or anything...

so what was the point of this documentary? I'm not even joking. Its not like the girls were raped or anything. Everything they did they did it for the money and it was all consensual.

I'm really not memeing. I want to understand why would anyone watch this and feel bad about the porn industry.

victim culture/women not being held accountable for their actions

Think of this documentary as though it were about men, then take away reason and accountability.

That's why you're supposed to feel bad.

alternate jack off material

You feel bad in the same way as when you see a lemming jump to its own death.

>I didn't know what was happening!!

Really?

Sometimes documentaries show you a slice of the world and you're allowed to form your own opinion on it.

It shows that women in porn have the IQ of dead raccoons.

>I accept money to let people play with my butthole.
>My life is so hard and everyone else is to blame but me

You're a legal whore and nothing more. You take money to be a slut, and then people treat you like you're a megaslut? No shit Sherlock.

basically the netflix version of click bait.

I think this is the best interpretation you can give it, but I don't think it was the intention of the produceers

pic related.

even the facial abuse shit... OK its aggressive but - in thesis - it was all consensual and she went there wanting to do it.

And, seriously, I'm not even pic related.

I liked how that one bitch complained about "they only care about your looks", did she expect to show off her personality in a fucking porno?

It tries to make me feel sorry for a bunch of dipshits who have delusional and greatly unrealistic visions of intimidate greatness and stardom doing entirely consensual shit and pissing what money they earn away on bad deals.

It also tries to make you feel bad for that dude who makes a living from promoting them.

It's horseshit.

It's the "Not womens fault, shirtlord!" argument made a movie. Stupid people will do stupid things, but women want to blame their stupidity on others.

>see title
>it wasn't about camgirls
Dropped.

>the fact that the girl partied hard and spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on coke in the span of a few months is just a passing reference at the end
So stupid. She could have paid for her college or starting a business or something with a few months work. But baww, she thought she was going to be a star until jobs dried up after a few months.

ican only imagine it is poor man's sexfactor

You guys ever think it's more of a warning?

Maybe it's not for young men on Sup Forums, maybe it's for young women who are vulnerable to this type of business and they need to be warned?

it was pretty cool watching the scenes they were talking about then being able to see the unscripted aftermath of said scenes.

warned about what exaclty?

That if they decide to become pornstars and get money for it they will be required to do porn and that includes sex/blowjobs?

Take this girl, for instance. She was being paid to have sex on camera with this bloke and she was doing this frown all the time like she was being forced to do it (she wasnt).

well fuck. If you want to get paid to be fucked on camera what are you complaining about.

And its not like porn was their only option, most of them gave up on previous jobs to become porn stars and get paid a lot of money.

Just watching this now. First sentence (on a black screen) has a grammatical error. They forgot to type "more", as in porn gets *more* views than netflix and youtube combined. Not going to put much faith in it desu

The thing about those people is that they are usually fucking stupid and won't be convinced by a documentary. I mean doing porn is such a stupid move that most people don't even need to be told it's a stupid move, they just find the entire business abhorrent and the people in it tragedies of human life.

They are even dumber than people who start smoking these days.

>not raped

*glares*

umm.... could you just, like......... NOT???!?!?

ugh I cant even right now

>They are even dumber than people who start smoking these days.
People smoke to end their lives before it goes into old people territory

All they are doing is entering old people territory faster and when it comes around they'll be far worse off than healthy old people since those people won't have spent their entire lives inhaling garbage as a way to pass the time.

The main message was that today most porn stars are not 'victims', they make a free conscious choice to join the industry.

>BAWWW I HAVE NO EDUCATION AND NO SKILLS BUT MAKE 20X THE AVERAGE WAGEKEK BECAUSE I'M A GRILL AND I SUCK DICKS ON CAMERA
>WOE IS ME
/r9k/ and Sup Forums were right again

Post more Rashida

>Drugs, cigarretes, booze, etc
I dislike western porn

The problem lies in the industry though. Who hired her? In any other job, you'd be refused with such an attitude. I haven't seen thin particular documentary on porn but others. Sure, you don't seem to need any special qualifications to be a female pornstar despite mediocre looks. But you also don't need any special qualifications to work at McDonald's. Still, a lot of girls who want to make it in porn are the equivalent of wanting to work at McDonald's, can't properly wash their hands, think burgers are disgusting and don't want too much skin contact with them, can't look the costumer in the eye, dropping the patty after 15 minutes and having a breakdown over it.

>so what was the point of this documentary
To give you an idea of just how many girls go into the porn industry and how young they're doing it. Some of them literally join this shit right after highschool
