Well I feel like a huge piece of shit after watching it

...

Just finished it a minute ago, while I think S2 was better in a sense that they could had ended it right there, this season was still pretty solid.

I also liked the ending, I guess, because it looks like they already have plans for S4, which I hope finally be about Bojack actually improving himself, because he can't go lower than in this season, maybe if he fucked Diane.

Wait, it's out?

I opened a bottle of vodka, smoked some weed and binge watched the season.

Pretty comfy and depressing night.

*Bojack actually killing himself

FTFY

tfw erection

agreed

I don't think S2 can be topped, it was perfect

I hope Wanda comes back and see more of the whole Penny thing. I think Bojack is the only ACTUAL adult cartoon thw show isnt trying to be the next south park or family guy by offending everyone is a show that deals with very hard and relatable depresing moments of your life.

also love when they do the drugs

So Todd was actually asexual? I feel like they wrote themselves into a corner and just came up in the final moment with this shit.

I guess he is. But I kinda don't see the point why.

I binged the whole thing on a lot of alcohol. I appreciate that they took some more experimental approaches to a number of episodes.

I think they know where they are going, but we aren't going to get anything out of it until next season.

>binged it in a 24 hour period
>now I have to wait an entire year for more
Does anybody else wish that episodes were released weekly instead of all at once?

I'm in the same boat. I sort of agree with you but I think that'd me make more detached from the show because there's a week before you can next see all the cast again. Also since the endings for Bojack are often really dramatic you want to know what happens next.

grass always greener

watching a TV show that comes out weekly I wish I could just watch it all at once, binging a TV show that came out all at once I wish it wasn't over so soon

>Does anybody else wish that episodes were released weekly instead of all at once?

Why not just watch an episode per week

>I don't think S2 can be topped

It has to do with your position in life. I cried watching S2. I havn't given S3 the same compliment yet.

I may be older ( I dunno ) but I feel like South Park is Meme's and whatever the hot topic is that week. Started with those foreign gymnists emulating Elian Gonzalez many years ago.

Bojack is far more relatable living in LA especially, hitting 30's not married, trash girls. Whatever "project" you have going on not getting the exposure you thought.

It was good except for the underwater episode.

I've cried every episode in S3, but I'm also depressed as fuck and too much of it is relatable.

Probably the best show out right now.

I was not prepared for the OP pic (though it didn't hit as hard as "Escape from LA"). And yeah, the underwater episode was kind of dumb.

Season 1 did.

This is a pattern with EVERY Netflix original show. First season is GOAT and then the quality starts going down fast in the next seasons.

binged the whole thing, the spongebob underwater episode was unexpected and awesome. i have a question is bojack unfix-able because i think if he's going to be fixed, he has to let everything go. not suicide but the money, house and drugs.i feel like he's at rock bottom and need be a normal person/horse.

Season 2 > Season 1 = Season 3

They were all really good.

I think it was fine, but its really overrated, everyone is gasping how genius it is, while its nothing else just visual gags for 20 minutes, its fine but not something unimaginably hard to do.

season 2 was so stupid
>the chicken episode
>radcliffe episode
>Todd's improv cult
>the deer plotline
>spammed feels

season 1 was great, this one I could barely finish it. I haven't seen the third season yet

They really have to make Bojack go upwards from this, I think they hit the point where Bojack fucking up even more would be forced.

The feels hit hard, but after some time its just too much, turning Todd into an asexual damaged person was already not a genius idea.

>dat underwater episode
>dat hamster happiness episode before that
>that 2007 episode before that
goat and also
Fuck those feels ;_;

>turning Todd into an asexual damaged person was already not a genius idea.
j-just like me

Between the fucking abortion episode and the bender episode, holy fucking shit this is heavy.

I barely laughed the entire season. It was amazing and still a very good show, but that wasn't a comedy. If I wasn't already being treated for depression, I'd probably call a therapist on Monday.

>watching literal redditcore
kys

>not moving out of LA

I'm younger than you, I know, but I'm an LA native and I moved to the Midwest a few years ago when I was 20 and as soon as I did I felt like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

You ever think of moving out of LA, man?

>asexual Todd
>Bojack fucking a black chick
>Lesbian rehearsal dinner
>muh abortion ep

Where were you when you realized this season was hijacked by the (((left)))

Todd being asexual kind of makes sense since he seems to just be into doing whatever silly projects and doesn't seem to really care about romance.

She was Greek

>implying lesbians is crazy when there's people fucking fish and dogs and shit

>implying abortions are a bad thing

>contrarian, the post

Is one of the best written shows to come out in years.

Todd's improv arc was the only thing I didn't like about season 2. I'm literally 3 episodes into season 3, and I've already finished it and am watching it again.

Todd needed a backstory, and being damaged and sexually confused makes much more sense than him just being a dumb stoner who's only around as comic relief.

I still laughed a lot, but it's much more an existential drama rather than a comedy, and always has been. I feel like the one-off animal jokes are just there to ironically offset just how heavy and lifelike the subject matter actually is.

GO HOME Sup ForumsBER

I really really hope that's how the series ends

I'm about halfway through but I think the underwater episode is legitimately the best episode of television i've seen in quite a while

amen brother

S3 destroyed me... I finished it Friday and cried all day Saturday... probably will do the same today

Is this an intentional reference to Carl the Cuck?

I highly doubt there will be any kind of big series finale event, good or bad.

Most likely it will just end like every season has so far: Bojack does shit and there are consequences and life goes on and usually sucks - which is basically the entire theme of the show. Him killing himself would be too easy of an out, and they kind of already almost did that this season if you're not caught up.

I was actually surprised by Sarah Lynn, despite it being obvious since the first season, and throughout that entire episode. I knew it was coming, but didn't want to believe it.

youtube.com/watch?v=zTm6bGOT7Wc

I've got goosebumps all over me.

holy shit, i didn't catch that

lel

>tfw you broke down crying after episode 8

Honestly? Probably so. Bojack is topical as fuck and the background is always full of jokes, references, and throwbacks. It's one of the reasons it's so rewatchable.

It has tits though.

That fucking underwater episode

Episode 9 was amazing.

I'm pretty sure that background character was in S2.

IT'S JUST POORLY WRITTEN COMEDY, I'M SURPRISED YOU IDIOTS CAN'T SEE THAT!

More Netflix mediocrity for middle aged housewives and numales.

Why are you even trying to bait? The season just came out and everyone thinks it's great. Give a few weeks before pretending to be so contrarian.

IT IS BAD AND IT IS STUPID!

That's literally too much, man.

Not as great as season 2 but still good

I don't think anything will ever be able to top Escape from LA, but overall season 2 was a little uneven and had some dumb arcs.

>ITT one samefag and a few sane people.

Go somewhere else this show is garbage and no one cares.

season 2 was a fuckin masterpiece

it had the season's peak in comedy (Let's find out) and in drama (Escape from LA), save maybe S3E4

>criticizes bojack
>posts a fucking rick and morty gif

okay

>masterpiece

Not even close.

It was definitely the best season, but I thought the chicken episode was a little dumb (despite being a good character arc for Diane) and didn't like any of the Todd improv stuff or the ending (despite it being a big development for the relationship between Bojack and Todd).

Todd has shown he's attracted to women in the past though, and certainly did this season.

Some are saying he has erectile dysfunction or something similar, which explains why he only gets anxious when sex is involved. He just doesnt understand what's wrong with him.

Mr Peanutbutter continued to be best character and it was awesome to see an entire town full of Mr Peanutbutters. I want to go to the Labrador Peninsula :(

I think my least favorite part of this season was Todd and Emily; especially with how Todd seemed only to be pissed at Bojack and not also pissed at Emily.

>some are saying he has erectile dysfunction

That's dumb.

I think he's just an assburger millennial who is simply confused by the modern world and all the SJW type stuff that Diane is all about, and is supposed to a sort of counterpoint to Bojoack, who's stunted by the modern world rather than by fame and riches.

This was the greatest episode, newfags.

>I want to go to the Labrador Peninsula :(

Sorry to burst your bubble, but in reality it's practically the arctic.

>everyone pretends to be happy even when theyre not
realizing that about mr peanut butter hurt

I actually like that comparison. Im still kinda miffed about Emily getting no flak from banging bojack

It was kind of obvious from last season when he talked to Diane on the phone and pretended it wasn't her sitting across the restaurant from him and that she'd been lying for who knows long about where she'd been.

Again: assburgers.

It took almost two seasons for Todd to even talk back to Bojack. He just goes along with what other people say and is comfortable without having to deal with people, but his whole arc with Bojack has mostly been about their mutual dependency and him being able to express himself to Bojack.

Season 1 has
>Bojack hates the troops
>Zöes and zeldas
>Our A-story is a D-story
>The drug scene
>the reporter birds and the depressed penguin publisher
>vincent adultman

And probably a whole lot more I can't recall right now

I'm sorry but season 1 can't be topped. The show hasn't been funny since it

S1 > S2 > S3

vincent adultman was pretty goddamn great. that one i will definitely give you.

>muh aspergers meme

Shut the fuck up you faggot

This. Although the joke was completely played out by the end of the season.

Most of that other stuff is meh compared to what came later (the drug episode was admittedly great).

>I felt like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
Why is this do you think? I'm from the midwest and I'd really love to work in the entertainment industry and I'm really thinking I'd like to move out to LA. Keep in mind, this isn't 1972, we have tons of movies and shows like this one so I know Hollywood is mostly hype covering up a really seedy underbelly. I know most people trying to work in the industry don't make it and lead lives of quiet desperation. I still want it. I want to live in Hollywood- complain about traffic, surrounded by weirdos, the whole shot.
What's so terrible about LA and so great about the midwest that you felt moving made better for you?

>muh aspergers meme

Um, what?

Post yfw Weird Al

Did you mean to say Kenny G?

More than likely it's one of pic related's friends from the world of indie self published comics. The entire look of the show is based on her comics, and she's the one that plans all the background jokes and characters. So based on the haircut and the tattoos it looks like it might be one of her pals she decided to sneak in a few episodes.

All I could think while watching this episode was how much I want to beat up a baby. Am I the only one?

And I forgot probably the best scene in season 1 which I can't find a full video for right now:

youtube.com/watch?v=K03Y2FP9qhI

You just know Bojack will kill himself at the end of this show.

I appreciated the dumb arcs though. They gave a little levity between depression inducing gut punches. Sure, it could have been a bit handled, maybe more evenly written, but I appreciated having breather episodes that weren't nearly as heavy as others.

The fuck was the point of that weird side story?
>muh futility of life
>muh spleen
5 minutes later
>Hey guess what everybody! I'm totally fine!

yeah I guess it was just an excuse for them to explain why Mr. Peanutbutter got the Oscar noms wrong thus sending Bojack on his downward spiral. BUT STILL.

Considering the very first episode of the series begins with Bojack kicking over a baby carriage, that whole episode made me think that Bojack will end up getting Princess Caroline pregnant in the future (which obviously will result in her being a strong, independent, single mom).

Hey, I love every episode of the show and think it's one of the best written things on TV in a long time. Just nitpicking/giving my opinion.

how much do you want to bet that teenage horse trying to call bojack is his daughter?

Lots of asexual people are still romantically attracted to people. Others jack off a bunch to porn. They just don't want to have sex with another person.

Todd was never really shown being physically involved. One relationship was over Skype, and the other was with a phone. Am I missing any other examples?

It would be a complete tweest if that wasn't the case (at first I totally thought it was Penny trying to get back in touch).

He seemed bummed about Gabriella from the first episode but yeah thats all I can think of.

omg that fucking scene with Penny, I wanted to just turn off the show, i could barely handle it.

He had a completely platonic conversation with the Spring Breaker girls, the phones where in love with each other and he was just facilitating, and he got uncomfortably pulled into Bojack and Sarah's hook-up, but that was supposed to be uncomfortable and wrong.

I hate to admit it, but I had to pause it like every 5 seconds to pace around the room because it was too intense.

he was still happy and told a joke at the end. seeing him going to bed after talking to his brother about the twisted spleen, and diane put her arm around him. his facial expression ripped my heart out. it was new years and you always hope and wish that it gets better. you tell yourself that. mr peanut butter was unsure of it.
